HOW DO I CONECT MY PRINTER TO COMPUTER

When you install a printer, you should conect it to power, turn it onand follow installation instructions. you must have at hand the USB cable. Most printers ask to install first the DRIVER in the computer, then they ask you to connect the USB cable
Without knowing more about your printer, there is not much more I can help you

if you conect via parallel interface make sure to install the driver for the printer. if you connect via USB the computer should recognize the printer automatically and install the driver. if it stays offline try to use the other interface or a new cable. if it doesn't help your printer may be faulty and you need to replace the formatter board

Check the gateway of broadband and also the printer.

connect the printer to your computer through parallel cable or usb cable. install the printer on that computer and share it with the network. to share it, right click on the printer and select share. add drivers for other operating systems as needed. To set that printer up on other computers on you lan that might be wireless, just search for the computer its connected to through the network and connect to the printer. The computer that the printer is connected to must stay on so other computers can print.

Usb cable or wireless conect? For usb, connect the usb cable from the printer to a usb port on the back of your PC, windows should detect and install its own driver(add the software later), to confirm its connected, go to start menu > control panel > hardware&sound > printer. Should say ready or online under your printers name. If it says ready or online, try a test print, right click the icon and select properties, then 'print test page' at the bottom. If this works your all good to go., next install printer software if you haven't already.

This is an older printer and requires a bi-directional parallel cable to connect it.

If you do not have a cable. A computer store may still carry them. You might even find a computer repair place to give you one.

• Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
• Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
• restart the computer
• try to download drivers from the website
• after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
• then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

there will be a cable for power please put this first and then conect the usb cable to the printer points usb and the other in the back of *********** bord in the usb port start your computer and should work

hi pls check the conections, just do reconect and conect all cables. and check the ip also.. may be its working..
