Do you mean the screen display is blinking, check first the vga cable for loose connection or replace it.

Wires under hood chewed by rats

Don't know what you need

Open up the wire harness enough to be able to make a repair

You slide heat shrink tubing over the wire, add wire, any color
but the same wire size or gauge & solder them & then heat shrink

If only the plastic is chewed & no copper wire ,then seal with clear
nail polish & tape real tight with 3M hi temp electrical tape, home
depot has that
Then use the stretchy rubber tape to cover all repaired wires,
unless you like you heat shrink job.

You just match the wire colors & strips that isn't the question

Have the battery disconnected

Magic focus

Projection sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3d, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then yourconvergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

Common Symptoms include....

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts off after powering on. The power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.
Here are some pics of convergence problems.

What you will need to do is convergence. You can get a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com . It includes replacement parts, step by step instructions, support, etc.
You can also read more about this on the tips page here on Fixya. Here is the link.

I need to no were the wires on starter go conected , there is a loose wire & I don't know where it go's.

It would help to know what Chevrolet car or truck to be more specific.
In general, The battery cable and one or two wires with fuseable links will connect to one large lug (the other large lug is the starter motor itself).
Then there will be at least one wire with a small eyelet (may be a purple wire. The heat could make the color a bit off) that connects to the "S" terminal of the solenoid.

Moniter power light blinks purple.

Inspect the power supply and also try it on another PC too.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Monitor blinks no image

first you need to isolate the problem to either the computer or the moniter. I would sugust that you hook a know good moniter to the compter and go from there. If the other moniter works then you have a moniter issue aif not chek the video card in the computer. good luck

My toshiba tn61x81 projection tv

have you tried the convergence option in the menu? i believe it is under "picture". this allows for nine different sections of the screen to be adjusted when projection images get out of whack.
