If you're using a cassette adapter it doesn't need to be set to a radio station your truck should be set to tape input. However you could get a 12V lighter FM transmitter that will play the iPod over the radio and with that you'd need the radio set to a specific station.
I just tried calling the company....what a joke that was...anyway, there is a reset button on the bottom of the radio.....you can press the reset button with something like a paperclip. This should reset your settings and hopefully start to charge the iPod while docked.
Setting the CLOK TCR368 is done by having the unit: Turned OFF - The power button is located at the top left face of the unit. Press and hold the CLOCK/DISPLAY/PLAY/PAUSE button for at least 4 seconds. (It is located to the right of the power button at the upper left corner of the unit.) Do not let go of the button. While holding down the CLOCK/DISPLAY/PLAY/PAUSE button, press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to the correct time. Release thethe CLOCK/DISPLAY/PLAY/PAUSE button.
The backup battery is to keep the clok circuit running in case of a power failure and can't be used to power the radio.
With the unit OFF, press and hold the FUNCTION button (located between the ipod slot and the snooze button) for at least 2 seconds. The display will flash either 12 hour or 24 hour depending what mode it is in. Release the FUNCTION button and press it once to change the mode. Press again to cycle between the 12 hour and 24 hour mode. When the display indicates the mode you prefer, simply wait 2 seconds for the clock to go into that mode without pressing anything.
Press the "function" button for a couple of seconds. The display will indicate 12hrs or 24hrs. Use the minute or hour to change the setting for 12hrs and you'll have normal time again. I hope this helps!
According to the instructions that we received with our clock. You should be able to get the Instruction manual from email@example.com. It is also supposed to be under the support section of the website www.dpi-global.com but I couldn't find such a link.
