I'm trying to play Rock Band 2 with the drums from Rock Band and the drums are only working sometimes. Has the game had problems with this or is it my connection???

    when i connect either the drums with the guitar or with the mic, the game freezes but i can have all of the controllers plugged in with rockband and rockband volume track 1....

    in the middle of a song my drumkit just lets out and won't register anything i'm playing.  i usually have to turn it off and back on again, and only sometimes will that fix the problem.  usb seems to be connected just fine...

Could be your connection coming loose at the usb. Check your connections and if they have a good connection I would check into the warranty on your drums. They have reported some drums that were were not working correctly.

make shaw its not a ps3 game, not trying to be patronizing but ive had 3 people do that brought ps3 games and try to put them in ps2, its true sony are rip off merchants, my advise is not to get a wii ether go for a xbox 360, he will love you for ever. the download content alone you can get for rock band1/2 and guitar hero world tour is worth it

I can't play rock band for my ps3
There should've been a patch released for that, but you gotta go to to accessory settings and reassign your rockband peripherals to any slots 1-4, if its 5-7 they wont work.

Rock band 1 drums will not work with rock band 2
I have no problem using my Rock Band 1 drums with RB2. Remember that it will only recognize the drums if they are used at the main startup screen. Also, make sure that if you have more than one Wiimote activated that they reset off (You can only have four items max active at any given time, including wiimotes, ie: Wiimote 1, Drums, Wireless Guitar, Wiimote 2 OR Guitar 2).

To accomplish the above, reset your wii, and don't start Rockband up until ALL the wiimotes' lights go out. Then only use one wiimote to navigate. Finally, when you play the game, use the drums to navigate through the menu screens. If you use the wiimote, it will set you up for vocals only.

Playing Rock Band 2 without a microphone
you have to use the green and red keys on the guitar to navigate the software...not the WII remote if you want to use the guitar.. THe WII remote is ONLY used for the Microphone.

On the drums you use the red and Green drum to navigate for the drum...not the WII remote....

kickpedal is probably broken or not setup right now do this: do NOT take it apart ever! it will break right away ill garantee it and last dont mess around with it or youll make it worse do this plug the headphone jack thinkg to the drumset and try that and if it doesnt work then play w/out pedal you can still play w/out it

Rock band 2 drums will not sinc
When it stops during a song,do not re-turn it on and play again. Return to main mentue and turn off the console. Change the batteries in the drums and then start playing again.
