Re: it will not turn on
First, make sure the "Hold" button is not engaged on the side of the player. If it is not engaged, hold in the "+" button on the front of the Mp3 player before connecting the mp3 player to the computer. Continue holding in the + button while connecting the mp3 player to the computer. After continuing to hold the + button for an additional 10-15 seconds, a window should pop up on your computer screen that says "Found New Hardware Wizard." Proceed with the rest of the steps, and the computer should soon be recognizing your mp3 player again.

Hi Try and reset the player by inserting a pointed object inside the small hole, press and hold for 5-10 seconds to let the player reset. If this doesn't work then connect the player with the computer and let it charge for a while. Now go to control panel-> administrative tools-> computer management/system management-> storage, check if you are able to see the mp3 player here. If it is visible then try a reset and try again. If not then reset the player while it is connected with the system. This will resolve your issue. Hope this helps... Daniel
How to charge the Jensen MP3 player - Model smpg-v2bub
Ignore instructions that came with it - they don't work.
Here's how to charge - I discovered this with mine: 1.
When computer is on and at windows screen, attach cable from computer
to mp3player with mp3 turned player off. It will immediately show you a
connect screen on the mp3 player.
2. pressed the left side middle button twice - this will turn it on and go into music like you're playing a song.
Now turn the mp3 player on by switching the button on the right side of
the device to the on position. It will suddenly show you it's charging
- the battery on the front of the mp3 player will have a signal pulsing
4. It will turn off after one minute. It's literally
half charged now. Strange I know. Repeat from step 1 and it will fully
If it doesn't fully charge after it turns itself off
after 1 minute the 2nd time, then repeat steps from 1, one more time,
but this time when it turns itself off after a minute, still leave it
connected to the computer for 10 mins even though it looks like it's
off. Then disconnect it physically from computer, turn it on with the
on button on the right side, press the left side middle button twice
and look at the battery on the screen - it should be fully charged now.
Hi, i suggest you wait for your computer to configure the usb cable, it might take some time, but after a while if doesn't, i advice you get another usb cable to charge, it is possible that the usb cable might be bad.
Connect it to your computer via the usb cable (you have already done). Using Windows Media Player, press sync and create a sync list, press start sync and it will transfer them to your MP3. REMEMBER, use the safe hardware removal mode when taking off your MP3 and do not try to operate it whilst still attached to the computer.
From my understanding your computer isn't detecting you're mp3 player in Windows media player. If you go to the start menu on your desktop click on my computer. There will be a list of items there. You mp3 might be there. You're UBS port might be broken so try connecting it to the computer through a different one. Also the UBS port on your mp3 might be broken.
