Can be for at least two reasons. The device did not survive the power outage. Special the sudden come back of the power, or the memory card is corrupted. Try to read the card in a external card reader connected to the computer. When it still has everything on it, it must be the photo frame what is defect. When the card is corrupted, try to format it, or when you don't have a backup, FIRST try to recover the data with a recovery program.
free software to recover your files on a memory card:
If you have not already done so, try another power adapter. In some cases, the cord between the power rectifier/step down transformer (the part that actually plugs into the AC outlet) and the connector at the frame end, becomes kinked or broken. The connector at the frame may also have become worn and not propely connected? If a second adapter does not work then the unit is faulty. Take it to your nearest service center for repair. (it may be less expensive to purchase another digital frame?)
Most digital frames require a memory card to display photos.
The first step is to download your photos from your phone to your computer.
Then you need to put the memory card you get for your photo frame into the computer if it has a built in card reader or into an external usb card reader.
Next open the file that has the photos you want, and open my computer and select the memory card folder.
Select the images you want and press control and c to copy them, click on the memory card folder and press control and v to paste them.
Then remove the card and put it in the photo frame.
You can change out your pictures by having an XD or SD Memory cards if you have a card reader for your computer plug in the memory card put the photos on to it that u want on ur pic frame and plug it in to the xd/sd card slot on the left hand side of the photo frame and there u go.
