Hi Greg,
Make sure you format the card in the camera before you use it. Cards won't work most of the time, until you do. Also, check to make sure the switch on the side is not in the locked position.

I gotta problem with my digital camera it looks like it doesn't wanna save any pictures on the card ??? it takes pictures but it doesn't save them?? i got SD elite pro memory card its a brand

There could be a few different problems, one, the pins that are inside that connect to the card often get bent or damaged. Two, the reader itself could be damaged inside.

My camera won't save to mass storage

Are you sure it's an SD card? If it's larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card and won't work in the A300.

My brand new nikon coolpix S6100 is showing the internal memory is full after taking only 4 pictures

Hello Jennifer,

Your camera only has 20MB Internal Memory. So, it can only store very few pictures (depending on the settings). It is VERY advisable to use an SD card for your camera so you can save hundreds - thousands of pictures. The bigger the SD card capacity, the more pictures you can save.

I hope this helped you.

Cannot download pictures from phone to computer

The easiest way to transfer pictures from a cell phone to a computer without incurring addtional charges is to transfer the pictures to a mini SD card and then insert the SD card into your PC. If you will tell me what kidn of phone you have, I can try to find the directions for where to install the mini SD card and how to transfer the pictures. At that point, you can also set the camera to automatically save the pictures to the SD card to save yourselves steps next time. : )

Kodak easyshare m360 says memory full after 3 photos i just bought the camera, what i shell do < shell i buy memory card or usb for it ?

You need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.
  • Menu
  • Cam settings
  • Chose AUTO or SD card option
  • Press OK to SD card
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

If you experience problems:
The lever on your SD card might be turned the wrong way so the SD card is reading protective.
Please turn the lever and try again.

The SD card might not be supported by the model: Your camera Memory card support is SD/MMC up to 2 Gigabyte and SDHC up to 8 Gigabyte

The SD card might not be faulty, try another card, since the camera could give you a message like the one you're experiencing.
Try with a different SD card that is supported by the camera.

Once you have set the settings to save onto the SD card directly you might like to transferre your existing pictures from the internal memory onto the SD card:

Chip says full after few pics

The chip may not be inserted correctly. You can tell by seeing or not seeing SD symbol in the view screen. Try removing the SD card. Go through the memory and see if the pictures were saved to the camera or to the card. If the pictures were saved to the camera, turn off the camera and re-insert the card. See if the cards responds by showing more pictures available for taking and move the pictures to the card. If the pictures were saved to the card, then the card may need to replaced.
