Have Dell laptop Inspiron 1525 with Vista loaded....but I need Win XP-2 OS on it...CD of which I have but don't have the laptop drivers compatible with XP.
Can you pls guide me how & where to find these drivers....Dell does'nt have those drivers anymore (outdated)

Nominally you might get a more accurate answer by going to support.dell.com and entering the 'service tag' number (on the bottom of your machine next to the 'express service code'.
This machine also includes a field in the BIOS setup program; hit the F2 key when you see the Dell logo to start the BIOS setup program.
Here are 43 different downloads available for your model DELL from their website. They support both VISTA and XP. I believe this is what you were asking for.

You don't need new drivers when you change operating systems. The same drivers will work just fine. However, I do not think you will be able to load XP over Vista. Others who have tried were unsuccessful as Microsoft has put a block on downloading anything on there Vista machines.
