My radio is asking for a password and i dont remember it how do i bypass this?

Try searching on eBay for the radio make and model and "unlock code"

They will ask you for the radio's serial number and they'll email you the code. Usually costs between 5 to 10 quid. If you do it through eBay you'll get their buyer protection on the chance that the code doesn't work and the seller won't refund.

There are others that will do the same outside of eBay too.

I just purchased a car with a Jensen VM9512 and it is asking me for a security caode. Can you help

You need to contact the former owner, or any Jensen dealer or Jensen directly via online. You might check your glovebox for a card w/code on it. Those codes are very specific and might require you pulling radio and getting serial # off it. (sorry didn't have a better answer)

Lost pass word

We do not have unlock codes for radios. You will need to take the car to your local dealer or call the dealer for the code. We can not provide the code. We do not know if the radio is stolen or not and can not prove it. It is against are company policy.

I know that this dont help, sorry.

I took my Kenwood KVT-514 out my other car and put it in my other car and now its asking me whats the code set and I don't know it

Check the documents that were given to you by the dealer of the other car and look for a card that contains the code. If you could not find any code, get the serial number (usually located underneath) and then contact either the dealer or the manufacturer of the other car where the Kenwood was originally placed. Either the dealer or manufacturer could give you the code.

The code that you need is also called the "anti-theft" code and it's unique with every car radios and DVD receivers. So only the manufacturer could give you the code that you need. It's designed this way so that the appliance would be useless once stolen.

Thank you and good luck!

Do you know if there is a bypass code for the Clarion NX509?

the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

Otherwise ask your Main dealer or a Decoding Service

Your radio will require one of the following procedures.

Then using your remote enter your code.

Type 2
Press the "Auto" button and "Track up" on face of radio at the same time. The four dash lines ( . . . . ) should "disappear".

Then using your remote enter your code.

Type 3
Model# DPX-4020 and DPX-4030
Press and hold the 1 then the 6 preset key (preset keys are the buttons on face of radio for storing you "favorite" radio stations). "C" should display.
Then using your remote, enter your code.

Enter your number from the remote control unit. Your code number is 5227 (KCAR)

* Press numeric key “5” ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key “2” ( 3 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key “2” ( 1 time ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
