Thanks man, i already went to repair it. It was something on the amp not on the power supply. Hopefully the guy told me it's not a major problem and it will be done on thursday. Your answer was good it was like you said something that needs to be replace.

    Thanks

Here is the link for the user manual for your amp if you need it; http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/113/113KAC9102.PDF There appears to be no designed error code indicated by a flashing power light. the light is either on or off.(page 2) I think therefore that your amp has a major problem in the control part of the circuitry, almost certainly something that needs replacing rather than being repairable. if you wish to try yourself then if you can open the amp up, and post us some clear close up photos then we may be able to help. If you wish to find the nearest Kenwood dealer then; http://www.kenwoodusa.com/support/simple.aspx?men=2&M2=38 Hope this helps - sorry if it is bad news :)

HAVE A KENWOOD AMP MODEL KAC-9102D . iT KEEPS SHUTTING OFF WHEN i TURN THE RADIO LOUD. ANY SUGGESTIONS

either bad ohm load or over heat if the ohs on the speaker wires to the amp are lower than specified use in the manual it will act funny cause it is pusing harder than its meant to and if it gets too hot either bad location or bad amp you can try turning the gain down a little until the amp stays on constantly at high volume

To bridge a Kenwood KAC-9102D

Hello laurogleal,

The Kenwood KAC-9102D is a mono amp. There is no bridging. Having two sets of terminals is just a more convenient way of connecting two subwoofers. The amp is stable down to 2 ohms impedance, so it is safe to run 2 4 ohm loads in parallel.

Hope this helps.

Install my Kenwood KAC-9102D in my 2006 Acura RSX Type S

You will probably need to use a Line Output Converter (LOC). They're available at virtually any shop that sells car audio.

Many times, the outputs of the OEM amplifier will have significant DC voltage on them. This could damage the input circuits on the kenwood amplifier.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Make sure that you are running the engine every time that the stereo is playing or you'll deplete your battery's voltage. Also, make sure your alternator can supply the amount of current necessary to produce that kind of power. Amps X Volts = Watts is the formula you use to calculate this demand.

Doesn't turn on

You need to confirm that the B+ voltage isn't dropping at the amp.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.
