Question about Emerson Black Microwave Oven
I have had all the same problems as you! I fixed it myself for less than $3. Go to home depot buy a CERAMIC fuse for microwaves its in a yellow and black package, take off the back of your microwave and replace the fuse! anyone who tells you that you cant use a ceramic fuse is full of themselves so dont listen to them.
When a fuse even starts to go bad, even though it looks intact: it can make your appliances do strange things. I changed the junk glass fuse with a ceramic one and the microwave worked like it was new out of the box. Give it a try, dont scrap your microwave.

I can't solve your problem, but might be able to help a little . . . I would be willing to give you $20 for the glass turntable plate if you cannot get your microwave fixed. Also, I saw that Target in Daytona has a couple of microwaves for $55 each.
