Magazine-type CD changers have a common failure mode caused by a CD stuck between the player mechanism and the magazine. It may be necessary to resort to removal and some disassembly to get access to the stuck disc
You said you cleaned the player but did you clean the disc? Any scratches, dirt debris?
To clean the disc you can but special cleaning soultions at various retailers. Have you tried playing diffrent discs, that will help rule out if it's the player or disc.
