I have the HZ-725 Honeywell heater and ive used it for only one month and it stopped giving out heat. This got me really mad cause its really cold in my house and our last heater died out. Can anyone please help me out here? Oh yeah and how do you unscrew the heater so i can look into it. Ive tried a lot of screwdrivers and none of them worked.

I have this same problem, but with TWO of them. This product is terrible.

I've had three do this. One I was able to return to the store. It seems to be a fault in the auto-shutoff. It comes on and then switches off again after about two minutes. I've tried it at several different temps. Doesn't make any difference.

Ditto here, but we only bought one, and it only lasted a couple days. Thinking about taking it apart...Or go buy another one somewhere, return this one!

The screws are "Tamper-Proof Torx" head, it takes a special T15H tool bit to remove the screws. I just disassembled one of these non-working units and the problem with this unit is a open diode on the heater element board. Not sure the purpose of the diode, but no voltage is going through it. I doubt if parts are available as I see no link for parts on the www.kaz.com website. This unit has been quite hot inside as the plastic mounting peg for the heater element board is melted near the diode area.

My Honeywell HZ 709 WMT stopped working. I've had it for about a year now and has been great up to this point. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. I am not sure the cause but I was reading that some manufacturers will put automatic shut off switches in the electronics. I read that it was mainly printers and faxes but I wonder if that could hold true here as well?

Heater shuts off and on very quickly, does not to heat higher than 70 f.

The high limit is defective, meaning the safety sensor, or there is not enough air flow, causing it to heat prematurely inside and shut off on safety. Try cleaing it by blowing compressed air if it is really dirty. There is not much info in your question.
thanks
