First check the vent outside to see if it is blowing air out strong, then check for heat.

You say you change the kit must be an electric dryer. Did you replace the whole kit you must replace the thermal cutoff and the high limiter both they come in the kit You may check the other fuse its just above you thermostadt on the other side of the dryer on the back about 2" long all white and plastic.

Whirlpool dryer LE6810XS110 timer only works on air fluff and tumble press does not work on regular or perm. press

Check to see if the unit will heat up in the time dry. if the heater does not come on in the time dry cycle, then you will need to change the thermol fuse on the back of hte dryer.

My dryer isn't drying - no heat seems to be coming out. We've checked the vent and air is passing through. Raising to higher drying level doesn't help.

Check for a blown thermal fuse or a faulty heating element. Both components can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty component. The thermal fuse is about an inch long and is usually just inside the rear of the dryer and attached to or near the exhaust duct. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Clothes will not dry

Make sure the vent hose is clear of any clogs, then check to see if the element is coming on by pushing in the door switch with your finger and looking to the back of the inside of the dryer. You will also have to check the thermal fuse for continuity.

Whirlpool dryer will not start.

Check to see if the door switch clicks. If it don't click then you need to replace the door switch. You may have a bad fuse. To access this fuse you would have to take the back panel off and check the little white fuse with an ohm meter. Could be a bad cord or you may only have 120 volts coming in at the plug instead of 240 volts. These would be the most common possible problems.

Drying clothes & the dryer just stopped & won't come back on

This is likely the thermal fuse on the heating element. You can check it with an ohmmeter. Also clean out your venting, as this often causes it to blow. Hope this helps!

Dryer quit middle of drying

Verify 220 volts to the terminal block where the cord attaches.
Check the door switch for continuity.
Check the thermal fuse on the right hand side of the heating element just below where the heater wires connect.
You may need a flashlight to see this fuse.

It most likely is the thermal fuse.
If so correct any vent blockage or you will blow another fuse.
The fuse comes in a kit including the hi-limit switch.
Replace them both.

Thermal fuse on the blower housing is open. Take back off and the thermal fuse is near the blower outlet. It is white and about 2 inches long. Part number is 3392519
