Trouble Uninstalling softwarer

I have an Acer Notebook, and am trying to uninstall the BitDefender software, and when I go into the control panel, and attempt to uninstall the software it says something to the effect of cannot uninstall because of a driver that wasn't installed properly, what am I either missing or doing wrong?

Got to this link and download "ccleaner" and install it.
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Click on the green arrow at the top right of the screen that says "downoad latest version". once it is installed follow these steps.

1) open ccleaner, click on the desktop icon or got to mycomputer -> c:/ -> program files -> ccleaner -> and click on the program there.

2) click on "Tools" on the right hand side of the little ccleaner window. this is an installer.

3) scroll to "Bitdefender" and click on it, then click on "Run Uninstaller" on the right hand side of the window.

4) once uninstalled, click on "Registry" on the left hand side, then click on "Scan for Issues"

5) when its done scanning, click on "Fix Selected Issues". Click on "Yes" when it asks to back up registry. Click "Save". Click "Fix All Issues" then Close.

6) Click on "Cleaner" on the left side of the window. Click "Analyze"
Click "Run Cleaner". Click "OK" and you are done.

This is a good routine to run once a week to clean up all the junk that builds up in your system.

This should remove all of "Bitdefender" from your system.

Let me know :)

I want to install BitDefender antivirus but errors this : [BitDefender2013 cant automatically uninstall Norton, we recommended that u manually uninstall this program and run BitDefender installation again...

Try to switch on the pc in safe mode and go to control panel and find the Add or Remove program feature and uninstall norton. If that route does work. Then try this one.... switch on the pc (Not in safe mode) then get the same norton antivirus that is installed on your pc on a cd or on a flash drive. Run it on your computer (install). Then there is going to be a page that brings options like Remove, Repair or Modify, then you can select Remove from the options and click next. Make sure that when you do this, your internet is disconnected. I hope this will be able to remove and uninstall norton. Restart the computer and the install Bit Defender. Good luck

Uninstall all programs that aren't critical - security and a browser - , manually delete all remaining folder and files then run a system cleaner like CCleaner. If necessary do a defrag and another malware scan using one of the free services that you can find - one like

My system has a virse is there a total system

You can attempt to clean the virus. There are a variety of tools available to help you do this.Combofix will help you get started it will automatically clean part or all of the malware automatically. Just download and run it.
http://www.combofix.org/download.php
After its done try running your anti-virus to scan for viruses. If the virus is blocking it, start your computer in safemode and try scanning again. If it doesn't work too you can use the windows recovery console to try and restore your system. More information can be found at the link below

I want my acer aspire one mini laptop's microphone to work because when i take a video no sound comes why

Depends on the software you are using, make sure the audio preferences in said program are set to use the device, check to make sure the device volume for the mic are up by clicking the speaker icon, if all else fails attempt to uninstall reinstall and update the drivers from the device manager located in the control panel. if you are using some sort of third party software that didnt come with the computer search for thier tech support site and give em a call, some palces arent so great but others can actually be quite helpful (suprising when it happens)

Driver Detective??

Okay, first off, boot your laptop to Safe Mode with Networking and go online to http://www.bitdefender.com or http://www.trendmicro.com and run a malware scan. These driver updating programs are often used as conduits for trojans on the unsuspecting user's PCs. Drivers are available free of charge at the manufacturer's website, and you never need this software to update your drivers.

Now, regarding your webcam, after you do your malware scans (and don't be afraid to do it at both sites rather than only one,) have you tried to go into Control Panel to check the settings for the webcam? Do you have multiple programs seeking to utilize the webcam simultaneously? If so, you'll have to shut down whatever wayward programs might be taking control of the webcam (like Windows Messenger, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, etc.) and leave open the application you wish to use the camera.

If that doesn't work, try going into Device Manager, look for your webcam, uninstall it, and reboot. Let Windows find the webcam on reboot and reinstall the drivers for you.

Post back with how this goes.

There is a utility bar that you can install that lets you change the default application folder:

** Note ** When the My Pictures or Pictures folder gets full, camera will not work - Cut and Paste all pictures in that
folder to another folder and restart Orbicam program.

If that does not work then do this:

Start - Programs - look for Acer Empowering Technology then Acer E-Recovery - The look at the bottom and you will
"Backup", "Burn disk" and Restore" choose Restore - choose Apps and Drivers at the bottom of Restore tab (it will say
extracting) - once extracted - click Install - click Vista or (XP) on the left - click Drivers - click Camera or CCD - on the
right side of the screen, then look for Bison driver or (or your model which can be found in device manager - control panel - system - device manager - Imaging devices) you have then click a phrase that has something like "Install now", follow on screen instructions. Then repeat steps above and instead of driver choose Bison (or your model which can be found in device manager - control panel - system - device manager - Imaging devices) Utility
