We're having the same problem with the one we got for our little girl and I'm SO disappointed!

Mine does nothing. The only thing I can see is in the instructions the on/off switch is all the way to the edge and mine won't slide all the way to the edge. only about half way to the edge.

So very disappointed. Brand new batteries. 7 year old is wondering how are we going to get it back to Santa, so I had to fib and told her I would ask someone else who had a problem last year with some other toy. The on switch does not seem to slide all the way to the left. Now the problem will be if they are sold out of them. I did send an email to FurReal, but for now, I'm trying to keep a 7 year old distracted from the fact that Santa would give her a toy that does not work!

ours works very briefly once we pushed the battery plate but it stopped. I think there is a defect in this model

Our bisquit didn't work after putting in the batteries and turning it on. We happened to have two so I tried the other one and it didn't work either. Finally after looking at the battery connections I decided to put them in the exact opposite of how the markings indicate and...he works. Both of the dogs have different markings for how to put in the batteries (one is molded into the plastic and very hard to see and the other is a label). They both are marked wrong and tell you to put the batteries in the exact wrong way.

We had a simlar problem. The problem was the battery casing was not being securley fastened. Lay the dog on his back and then wiggle the cover as you are putting it back on. Once the dog reacts you know that you have the casing correct. Then you can screw the casing back on.

FurReal dog stoped working even with new batteries

I noted some slight corrosion on one of the (spring) battery contacts. I used a Dremel tool to clean this up (some sandpaper on the eraser end of a pencil would also work). Inserted the new batteries and she has been resurrected!

My daughter's mio pup can't restart

it is never going to work sorry .(why it's not going to work) because you left dead batteries in the toy for eight month and when you leave something that's not working in side a toy for longer than a month the thing or engine that controlls the toy take the enrgy of a dead battery and the engine is dead to so all i can say take it to a toy fixer.

Batteries-mio pup toy dog

On the bottom of each of the rear feet is a phillips-head screw. Remove the screws and you replace 2 batteries in each foot.
