Question about Labtec Logitech 1200 Webcam

Own labtec 1200 and can not get it to vidio

Plug device into laptop and green light goes on and green light quickly goes off. I also have not registered license, lost box and info, where can I get info to register, the pop up is never ending Thank you Paul Watson

After you get your camera installed properly, DO NOT unplug it from the USB port as it will cause the drivers to be corrupt and render the camera unusable till reinstalled it properly.

Follow the instructions below and it will work.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program.

When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.


A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.
NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

D. AIM (AOL) Messenger

1. On the VIM sign-in window click on Edit.
2. Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
3. Next click on Enhanced IM.
4. Then click on Audio Video.
5. The Audio and Video portion has drop downs so you can select the proper audio card and video camera installed in you computer.
The Audi Video drop downs are
Microphone
Speaker
Camera

Adjust Your Audio and Video Settings:
In order to adjust your audio and video settings, please follow the steps given below:
1. Click the Audio and Video Settings button directly below the My Buddy or My Camera window. If you are currently participating in an AOL Live Video IM session, a message will display: You must disconnect the current AOL Live Video IM conversation before running setup. Would you like to disconnect now? Click the Yes button.
2. The Audio and Video Tuning Wizard will appear to help you verify that your camera, speakers and microphone are working properly. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Notes:
· The first time you use AOL Live Video IM, a message will display: Would you like to first check your audio and video settings? Click the Yes button. The Audio and Video Tuning Wizard will appear to help you verify that your camera, speakers and microphone are working properly. Follow the on-screen prompts.
· images in AOL Live Video IM may appear reversed, or as a mirror image (text may appear backwards) when you look at your own camera feed or at the picture-in-picture (PIP) display.

Can't register my account to retrieve the product licenses


Johnny,
Most issues like these are solved by contacting the developer via email. If the dev is worth their salt, they'll fix it for you fairly quick. Simply go to the PLAY store and look up the app, look for the developer's name and/or contact info and shoot em' a quick request. I've seen these things fixed on my own devices in less than 15 min.!

If you have purchased the box copy of Quick Heal then the Product Key (or Serial
Number) will be pasted on the User Guide or inside the box. If you have
purchased the software online, then you will find the Product Key in the email
confirming the order.
You can also obtain the Product Key along with the Installation Number using the
installed Quick Heal software. Just perform the following steps:
1. Click Start -> Programs -> Quick Heal AntiVirus -> Quick Heal AntiVirus to
open Quick Heal AntiVirus.
2. Click About on the left side of the main window.
3. Click the License Details button.
4. The License Details window opens. Note down the Product Key mentioned in
the License To: frame.
Note :
The term Quick Heal AntiVirus in the steps mentioned earlier is a generic term

I have a combination single pole switch. Light switch and receptacle. In have running in the old box 2 white, 2 black and a ground. How do I install the new switch to have power to the light switch and...


You are replacing old switch-receptacle device.
New device also has switch and receptacle.
You want switch to control light, but not receptacle.
You want receptacle 'hot' all the time.

You have 2 cables that enter box.
Each cable has white, black and ground wires.
Ground wires are twisted together and attached to green ground screws and not discussed more.

Screws on new device:
Side 1 of device: New device has dark screw(s) or brass screws on one side ... these screws are connected together by brass plate. This side is the Hot side of device.

Side 2 of device: Other side has 2 separate and unconnected screws. These screws are not connected in any way. Each of the 2 disconnected screws sits opposite the switch and opposite the plug.

Cables.
One cable comes from breaker box. This cable has a Hot and Neutral wire. The Hot is black. Neutral is white.
The other cable goes to Load (light). Black supplies power to Load (light), and white connects to Neutral.
If you are uncertain which is which, testing is shown below.

Connect the device:
Side 1 of device: Black Hot goes to dark colored screw(s) that are connected by brass plate. (This is only wire connected to this side of device)
Side 2 of device: Black that goes to Load (light) connects to screw that sits opposite the switch.
Side 2 of device: White Neutral connects to screw that sits opposite the plug

One wire is left .. the white from light. This white wire connects to white Neutral wire. Since white neutral is already connected to device, look on back of device to see if there is a quick-connect hole for you to shove wire into back of device. If device doesn't have quick-connect, then twist white wires together, and add a short jumper wire to device, and then all the whites are connected to neutral. Circuit is complete.

How to test for Hot and Neutral
Separate wires.
Turn on power.
Test each wire to bare ground.
Tester lights up on hot wire.
Now test hot wire to other wires.
Tester lights up on neutral

Battery discharge quickly, I have replaced new batteries and module control and problem still exist.


Don your charger is probably not charging the batteries. When you charge your chair overnite the charger should have a red and green light showing charge complete. When you first plug it in the lights should be red and yellow. If you are getting a red and green light when you first plug it in then there is a problem with the charger or with the charging circuit to the batteries. You should have a charger port on the battery box try plugging the charger into that port and see if you can get the batteries charged. When you do you should have a red and yellow light on the charger changing to red and green when fully charged. Hope this helps

You can't transfer the file without contacting Intuit and having them convert it to something that the Quick Start version understands. The quickstart version is not a full version of the software. Your file saved under the premiere version is. So they are not compatible. You can email Intuit from their website and tell them the business telephone number you registered the Premiere software under to recover your license and product number. Ask them to send you a link to download a new copy of Premiere. As long as you are a registered QuickBooks Customer you can always download your product for free if you have your license and product number. You will need both to activate the software once it has finished downloading.

Can't load software w/o the lost Software Licensing code


I too have the 3D Studio, which I purchased from an estate sale. Fortunately, I had the serial number, however I don't have the rest of the registration info to change registration for the program updates. It will not let me install any updates. However, it works just fine without them.

I've heard others with the same problem, and there is no way to bypass their protection codes. Their program also comes with a "dongle", which is a product licensing key, that plugs into your USB port. The program will not run without it. Another item that they will not replace if lost.

I had thought about purchasing another program, but really only needed the new generic reader-writer to plug in to my computer. (It must be an embroidery reader/writer.)

Husqvarna will, however, be happy to sell you another program at great expense.

Alternatively, I would suggest purchasing a more inexpensive program --Embird for expample, and the Ultimate Box (reader/writer) and Card , which will be much cheaper than what the Husky people will sell you. Also, there is no "key" to plug in to operate their program.

Hopefully, the seller can find the registration for it somewhere, because without it, it's pretty useless as far as I know. Husqvarna is very good at protecting their products.

Here is a site with lots of info on both the above items. I bought my reader/writer Ultimate Box Plus and card cheaper from All Brands, though.

try installing an updated driver for your webcam and updated driver for the video card for your laptop. go to driverguide.com and register then search for drivers. or you can go to the manufacturers website of your laptop and search for the software drivers.

No startup


For my FTR9965, it is necessary to physically unplug the
power cord from the box before you are able to enter the service codes. The sequence is:

1. Unplug the box for a few seconds.

2. Plug it in again.

3. Turn on the box with the front panel power switch. Wait for the green light to come on.

4. From the remote, quickly enter 062596 plus the info key.

5. A message comes on the monitor warning you that you could really screw things up if you don't know what you're doing, and do you really want to continue? If yes, hit any button on the remote. You only have a few seconds to respond.

6. The "stand alone" option is near the end of the "service" menu list. When you find it, change the "no" to "yes".

7. Go back to the main SAM menu, scroll down to "Store", and hit OK. I'm assuming this makes the "yes" selection permanent.

8. Enter "00" to exit SAM.
