Dell 1702FP 17" shows nothing after Radeon HD 2600 put in.
I just installed an ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics card into my Dell Dimension 8300. The computer turns on fine after rebooting, but when plugging the Dell UltraSharp 1702FP 17" monitor into the card, nothing appears on screen. The "testing pattern" is gone, because the card is plugged in, but the monitor shows the stable amber power light. That light is usually on when the computer is off, but the computer is on and plugged into the monitor. HELP!!!!

Do your PC support the above hardware requirements?
The most common input no support would be your graphic card is not up to the mark to play the PC games.
Is your graphics card drivers up to date to the latest?
Have you updated your DirectX to the latest version?
Displays should be plug and play, drivers are built into windows. If there are drivers for additional features, you can only get them from dell if they have released any for windows 7. Try the latest graphics driver for your graphics card
Yes as it has a pci express slot ,go ahead ..just uninstall the old graphics drivers in add remove programs.Switch off install card restart install driver. You may have to change resolution in display properties after it's installed.
