Water temperature out of range cylce keeps stopping
Its winter here in Canada and the washer keeps stopping because cold water is out of the temperature range so I must push the water selection and start to continue the cycle (over a dozen per load!!!!!!). Is there a way of disabling the cold water sensor or a setting that would bypass this problem.

1) the temperature coming from your house determine how is the temperature. You can get hot, cold or mix of hot and cold available to your machine.If the water is too cold affect the machine,and if is too hot, the warm temperature colapse. If you live Northern are, unless you adjust the cold and hot verywell affect the temperatur of your machine.WARM water is better in summer and Colder during the winter. God bless you
Delta single handle Tub & Shower faucet temperature control adjustment.
Step 1 - Remove handle to gain access to rotational limit stop. Once handle is off there ia a plastic limit stop disc. Remember where it is to start with. Metal handles require a 1/8" allen wrench to remove handle. Plastic handles require removal of cap to access screw to remove with phillip's head screw driver.
Step-2- To adjust the temperature of the water coming out of the valve, pull the disc back to a position where it is possible to remove the Rotational Limit Stop and readjust the teeth to desired position to acheive temperature. Once moved reinsert it into place to test water
Step-3- Clock wise will decrease the temperature and counter clockwise will increase the outlet temperature to a hotter setting. Temperature setting per tooth (notch) could result in 4 to 16 degree's based on inlet water conditions.
Check water temperatures to make sure it is at a safe temperature to avoid scalding. Safe operating temperatures range around 120 degree's. Some may have to be adjusted based on season's.
Winter season's when it is cold outside you may have to turn temperature up due to water coming into house will be colder than it would be in the summer.
This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model FRONT LOADERS displaying the “FH” error code. "F/H" indicates that either you have no water coming into the washer, or very little water.
If you have NO water coming into the wash tub after 30 seconds the error code is displayed.Check the following:
- Inlet water valve may be clogged. Clean inlet screens if necessary. - Make sure water taps are on. - Check inlet hoses for kinks or clogs.
If you HAVE water filling the wash tub, and after 8 minutes, 10.5 gallons of water has been detected by the flowmeter, but there has not been a detected a Pressure Switch trip, the inlet valves are turned off and the error code is displayed.Check the following:
To access the Drain Pump - UNPLUG the washer and take the lower panel under the door off by removing the three screws under the bottom edge. HINT: Propping the front feet of the washer up can make access much easier. I use a couple small blocks of wood. With the screws removed, the panel should drop down then come off. If it sticks, tap either side and it should come free.The pump is located directly under the wash tub in the front of the washer.Verify the electrical connections are good and that the pump is running.If not, click on the following link to check the pump for obstructions: http://www.fixya.com/support/r385845-checking_drain_pump_in_whirlpool_duet To access the Flowmeter and Pressure Switch – remove the three screws in the top panel along the back of the washer.With the screws removed, the panel should slide back, then, lift off.The flowmeter will be located on the left-hand side of the washer (facing from the front) between the inlet valve and dispenser.It’s a small white plastic device with hoses attached.The pressure switch is located on the right-hand side of the washer in the rear.It is a round plastic device with electrical connections and a hose attached. There should be a tech sheet directly behind the panel or attached to one of the interior cabinet walls.Please refer to this sheet to learn how to perform diagnostics, how to locate the components mentioned, and the specific measurements required determining if the components are good or bad.

It could be a problem depending on how cold your garage gets in the winter. Most refrigerators depend on the compressor turning on to cool the freezer section and that cold air is used to cool the refrigerator section. If your the temperature in your garage gets in the 30-40 degree range in the winter. The compressor may not turn on sufficiently since the refrigerator is typically around the 35-40 degree range. This will cause the freezer to warm up to the fridge temperature and your freezer items will defrost.
Newer machines know the water temperature. It will mix hot water even on a cold setting if the incoming water is too cold. Detergents need a temperature of at least 60 to activate.This will only happen in the winter usually.

F/05 Water Temperature Sensor Error
If during the water heating step in wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, or the heating element circuit has failed, the "F/05" error code will be displayed.
