Question about Epson Stylus Photo 820 InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Epson ink I bought is not returnable?? T026/T027

I purchased some epson ink at Office Depot in Sept. 2008.....they will not accept a return. (my old epson stylus photo 820 finally bit the dust)
I have one color cartridge (T027) with a black one in the sealed box....and 2 additional never used black (T026) cartridges.
the store manager at Office Depot said he could not help me and that I should contact Epson directly for help returning this ink.

I cannot find a customer service phone number or email address in order to contact Epson.....anyone have a good number for Epson C/S?

Does anyone need these cartridges?

thanks so much!!

Epson 1400 not recognizing an epson ink cartridge

not necessarily faulty cartridge - had same problem went thru various cartridges some worked some didn't - in fact they weren't epson - so bought epson from office depot and that would not work, so not an issue of ink dried up - if yr printer is fairly old may be easier just to replace rather than waste time and money on trying to figure out problem

EPSON SX20O RECENTLY BOUGHT ,GIVING ME A PROBLEM WITH PAPER JAM . IT PRINTS THREE PAGES THEN START TEARING PAPERS CAN YOU HELP THANKS

You may wish to switch paper types.....head down to Staples or Office Depot (or where ever) and pick up a small package of "jam free" paper....it usually states that it is 99.98% jam free... If that doesn't fix the problem, I would suggest returning the item. Best of luck!

INSERTED NEW COLOR CARTRIDGE 24 ERROR INCORRECT CARTRIDGE

Yes, you should return this cartridge to Office Depot. I own a cartridge refilling store and I've had a couple customers that buy original manufacturer cartridges that don't work in their machines. What I suspect is happening is that the manufacturers are making their printers stringently check the cartridges to make sure they are not refills and that this stringency is also occasionally kicking out their original cartridges.

Epson DX7400 not accepting non standard inks

It's entirely possible that you've been sold CX7400 cartridges and not DX compatible versions.

I would see if you can source some cartridges from somewhere in the UK that are compatible and see if that solves the problem...

It's also possible that the cartridge chips are soiled, broken or similar so I'd take them back to the store and get a refund.

Hope that helps.

Jagged lines on paper

You did not say how much printing you do. A year old printer that is heavily used can have quite a buildup of ink. It may need the entire paper path and mylar strip professionally cleaned. It's not a big deal, but the printer covers do have to be removed. This is best accomplished by an Epson Certified technician, usually employed by one or more of your computer dealers or sometimes office supply retailers.

If you bought the printer locally, I'd first try there. If you purchased it from Epson Direct or from another online retailer, try Best Buy, Office Depot, or perhaps Staples. If they do not provide such service themselves, they may have a recommendation for a reputable business that does.

Epson cx8400 printer error

Basic thing to do is take out the inks.
Check for any obstructions in the printer ( packaging tapes ).
Reinsert the cartridges if same error persist

Recommendations > Have it returned / replaced to the Place of Purchase or Call Epson Tech Support
to avail the warranty options for your printer.

I believe it has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase

be ready with the proof of purchase and serial number of the printer if your planning to call Epson Tech Support.

This is a new printer. I printed 5 pages of black and now the printer displays "out of ink" ... continuous red light. What can I do. I bought the same printer Sept. 2007 and used it for only a

Assume all the ink cartridges are original because a fake one may give that type of warning. I would open the printer and check that the plastic sheet covering the cartridge opening has been taken away. I would take out each cartridge and put it back. If the problem persists, it is likely that the ink in the tank had been dried out (very old stock) or the printer ink sensor is busted. It should still be under warranty I hope.

Epson stylus photo830 printer, just changed copatible ink cartridges t026 and t027, giving paper jam error, when printer error goes it shows ink empty

Hello anupam49,

Make sure you have inserted the cartridges in the correct order, and they are seated properly. (You should hear an audible click if you insert them correctly). Aslo try reinstalling the latest driver. That usually helps.

You can download the latest version HERE
(Ps. Although it says EPSON Stylus Photo 810 Driver, it should work with the 830 as well). Hope that works...
