How do I delete channels not wanted and get channels I have lost the past couple of days?

If you delete the files already in permanent basis. You can no longer restore them unless you have software restoration...to restore the deleted files or due to viruses...
Try to scan first your pc to clean the viruses and files will be back in normal condition. After you clean the pc but still don't the files you need...

As you have not mentioned from where you need to delete a certain program so i request you to please give the details.

If you want to delete some program from a computer system then go to the Start button>Control Panel>Add or Remove programs> Select the program you want to remove from the system.

On your remote you should be able to press Menu, then go to Channels and there should be an add\delete option. What type of TV is this?

Maybe I didn't understand your question but you said it is working now?
(Just a thought, it may have just become confused because all the channel allocations changed as you were in a different location to your daughter?)
Leave it on standby for a couple of days and see what happens. if it then loses all the info after being unplugged for only a few hours then a battery will have to be replaced.

Press the menu button.Go to the scan button.Manually enter in the channel you wish to add.Press the volume or channel button to 'add'it and if you press it again it will show delete(probably volume,many different brands have different ways to do it yet still basically the same).Do the same for all the channels you want.I use delete for channels such as C-span and a couple of other nonsense channels I do not really care to watch.Even if a channel is deleted,you can still watch it by manually entering the channel number on the remote.After you finish,hit menu to exit the setup.

Most of the buttons on your remote should be on the TV too,at least the important ones.Look all around the edges for them,top,sides,bottom.To program the channels,press the menu button and search around for channel searching options,perhaps auto-search or antenna.If you auto search,you can get rid of channels you do not want(I dumped c-span and a couple others)by going to that channel after the search,press menu,and you will have to fish around a little because it slightly varies between brands,but eventually there will be an option to add/delete the channel.The channel button or volume button will allow you to add/delete.
Since you did not list your brand and model number,if you send it to me I could check out how much a new one is.I would guess at least $60 though. Good luck!

That's because no offence but it has rubbish memory. 25mb is nothing these days. Most songs are 9-15mb themselves these days, and so no wonder you have no space left.

Press the menu button on your remote.  That should give you the main menu where you can go into add/delete channels and do an autoscan to only save channels that are good.

Go to menu and select add/delete channels. Then select 02, or 03. Some channels that are selected the numbers will show green, channels not locked in will be red.

First you want to go press the menu button on the front of the tv. Second, choose channel set. Third, choose add/delete and manually preset each channel. You can try just adding channel 3 if you have cable. This will turn the tv back on and out of game mode...
