Starview the box-t cannot exit from the language menu.

I cannot update codes when I select provider and do a autoscan no freq.found,when I check provider again it has changed back to NTL.Also it will not let me exit from the language memu

    I have no channels, when I do auto scan no freq found, when I check provider it has changed back to ntl.Tried factory reset.

Can't you set English and it'll take you back a menu?


STARVIEW STBs
To put keys in manually do as follows.
Press menu button
Press 1570 this takes you into secret menu.
Now hit ok on nagravision
Next make sure your cable provider is listed at top NTL or TELEWEST C&W ect
Now change key 00
(YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE
YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)

If you enter your postcode into the following site it will tell you which area you are in and thus which keys you need to use (For NTL use Pure Keys):

THESE ARE THE FOLLOWING KEYS FOR YOUR PROVIDER AS BOXES ARE NOT AUTO ROLLING:

If the box is a clone do the same as above but with clonesafe firmware.

    After you select your language, press the right arrow key to select you cable provider then press down arrow. Then select to start the scan.

    Don't worry about transponders that show as fail, this is normal as not all of them are transmitting any signal, the number of channels and transponders may vary from region to region.


    Now go to the emu key and press right to turn on.

    Now exit back to tv. That's it.

The NTL user codes are entirely region dependent. Kindly provide your region so that we can try providing the appropriate codes to resolve the issue. The best bet however is to get these codes from your service provider.

If the codes had been regularly downloaded , contact the provider tomorrow morning, they may have a problem, and your unit may be fine.

You have to use it when the 03 computers are with the system loaded....If you are trying to change when the Oprerational System is loading...the Switch Goes Crazy....

1. reset all keys back to 00 00 00 00 etc save and exit.
2. let box update.
3. now look at new keys and note them in two groups ie, 00 group 01 group.
4. Reset all again back to 00 00 00 00.
5. update box again.
6. now write down the new keys directly below the ones you previously noted. They will almost be identical but you will see which keys are different.
7. Do the above for both 00 and 01 and you will end up with 4 rows of keys.
ie 2 rows of 00 keys and 2 rows of 01 keys.
8. Now move the non-corresponding keys on row 1 down to row 2 and make a note of this new sequence. This is your first new key to try.
9. Next move the non-corresponding key on row 2 up to row 1 and note this sequence. This is your second new key to try. Do the same with rows 3 and 4.

This gives you 4 possibilities try each one until you find the correct one.

Change language to english and press set then it will go to region settings select the region and the set auto scan.

There is one other possibility and that is that your actual cable has become compromised by something and may need to be replaced. I had this happen once on an installation. The problem was also the type of splitter I was using, It didn't allow for the HD signal to pass as the frequency it was rated for didn't allow for the HD to work.

I have starview but doesn work could someone help me here please?


Press menu/factory settings enter 0000 as password OK. select language/installation select network (< or > key)/ automatic scan. This will take about 10 mins wait for saving and exit to blank screen and press menu again. Enter 1570 on remote and scroll down to key EMU and turn on (< & > keys again). Exit out and select Sky Sports1 wait for update. When channel comes on all channels are availabe. You will need to redo favourites. If you need help on that then add comment to this psot.

Starview box is locked


first do a factory reset (pin no 0000) and rescan once all channels are found wait for saving then exit to menu. Enter 1570 on remote and scroling down to emu and turn on usuing <> keys. Exit out and select sky sports 1 and wait for update. Oncee complete you should have all channels back.

My starview 3 box codes keeps going to ff


Hi,
Press menu..then type in 1570..this will open another menu..go to default and press the default key..then press back..and go into nagravision you should be able now to find your provider..select that and enter your 00 code and store then change to 01 and enter that code..store and exit..make sure your emu key is on it's below the default key..then exit and all should work.

Virgin codes for starview box


To enter the codes: Press "menu" then enter "1570" and a secret menu appears. **MAKE SURE "EMU" IS SET TO "ON"** Selecet "Nagravision" and the codes will appear. At the top select your provider: N*L, EX C*W, CH*&US etc, then in the box below select key 00. Move down to the keys below. Enter the codes by a combination of the number keys on the remote and "Audio", "Pause", red, green, yellow & blue buttons for the letters A to F.
After you have entered keys for 00 press "OK" to save. Go back up and select Key 01. Move back down and enter the codes for 01 then press OK to save.
Press exit & exit again until you get back to the first MENU screen. Press "Installation", select your provider again, go down the menu and press Auto search. This should then find all programs. After the programs have been found press exit & it should say something like saving or updating data. Then you should be able to view your channels again.
