First check for spark, if you have spark than you can try spraying a little fuel into the carb and try to start it if it starts then dies its the carb

When i turn the motor over there is no spark from the plug.

Might be a wild guess, but could you pull the flywheel and see if the key has sheared?
Idea..... Before you do that, check to see what the "stop" mechanism on the motor is. If it grounds out the coil, it could be that it is stuck in the "off" position.

If you cant move the tines by hand then I wouldn't think you sheared the pins, more like a gear box problem.

Help, new craftsman rear tine tiller stopped tilling.

It sounds like the belt just stretched. Now you need to move the belt tensioner over to put more pressure on it.

Need a downloadable copy of owners manuals.

my 17 in dual tine tiller fouls up the air filter with oil and the spark plug. The prefilter, I can't tell if I put it in backwards or not. Also, the manual says to "fill the oil reservoir almost to overflowing." I don't believe that was right, because I am not sure if that is the reason oil is entering the filter box or not, but I am not going to do that again. I don't know how much oil to add, but it certainly won't be to overflow level. I am going to reverse the prefilter(screen/foam) in the filter chamber and pray that the oil does not foul up the spark plug and filter chamber again. Does anyone agree or disagree?

If you are looking for repair parts diagrams and part numbers they are located pages 38 through 45 of the Owner's Manual.
Hope this helps.
