There might be three buttons under the clock
One button is for timer, one for stovetop preset and the other for oven preset.Press the second button for setting the clock.

This has been a nightmare. I just found my manual though. To set the time of day: Hold down the 2 far left buttons at the same tome (Thats the buttons with a pocture of a bell and a steaming dish). While holding down these buttons, use the + and - buttons to adjust the time. (Note, this is a 24 hour clock with no option to change to 12 hour). If you make a mistake and press a wrong button, then the manual tells you to turn the cooker off at the mains and wait a minute or two (for the clock memory to clear) before powering on and starting again

Forgot to say, if you need a full set of instructions on all the timer functions, see the note I posted in response to a question by "Plummers" which has further details.

How to set timer

I found a pdf of the manual for your stove. See the link below to download the pdf.
If you press the button that looks like a bell under the clock you can use + an - keys to set the minutes for a reminder timer that won't turn off the oven.
After turning the thermostat to the temp you want and function knob to the setting you want set the cooking time as follows.
You press the button that looks like steam coming off a pan below the clock for 1/2 second .
Then use + an - keys to set the minutes. Every 12 minutes will make a new segment light up on the inside ring so the numbers corospond to hours on the inside ring.
When the time is where you want it, wait 6 to 10 seconds and the cooking and timer will start.

How to disconnect beeping hotpoint stove digital timer/clock?

Good Afternoon Patti,

I understand that your Hotpoint stove digital timer/clock is beeping and you are wondering how to disconnect it. I suggest resetting your stove by either unplugging it or disconnecting the power at your home's circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. When power is restored, if your stove is still beeping, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine what the cause of the beeping is. They will also be able to assist with repairs, if needed. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Set clock and be able to tell am from pm setting

The Clock uses a 12-hour cycle with a.m. and p.m.
1. Check that the oven is off.
2. Press CLOCK.
3. Press TEMP/TIME "+" or "-" arrow pads to set the time of day, including a.m. or p.m.
4. Press CLOCK or START
The Timer can be set in hours or minutes up to 12 hours and 59 minutes.

1. Press TIMER.
2. Press TEMP/TIME "+" or "-" arrow pads to set the length of time.
3. Press START to begin the countdown. If enabled, end-of-cycle tones will sound at end of countdown.
4. Press TIMER twice to cancel the Timer. Do not press the CANCEL/OFF keypad because the oven will turn off.
5. If the TIMER is running, but not in the display, press TIMER to display the countdown for 5 seconds

Delay Start:
The Start Time keypad is used to enter the starting time for an oven function with a delayed start.

Hope this answers all you questions about your stove.

to jenna 12 Does your stove have a stop and start timer? When you set your clock you may have inadvertantly moved the stop or start time on that timer. Check them, if they have knobs for setting the stop and start time, make sure the pointer is pointing to the current time and that the knob is popped out and not stuck in. when you have it right both the stop and the start knob should be out, not pushed in. They will pop out when you turn them to the current time.

These timers allow you to start something cookin at a time delayed several hours. this means they will not allow the oven to come on until it hits that time that you may have set in error.

If your stove has a digital stop and start timer check each one so that both show the current time, then your oven should light.
