Open Question

Resetting default button layout

I have a Nuby Soul Calibur 2 Limited Edition Universal Joystick and I accidentally set buttons to other functions and lost the instructions (unfortunately). I just want to set (or reset in this case) the joystick to the default settings so I can play games like Tekken and SF (works really well for those games). If u can assist me I will be a grateful gamer, LOL!! Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays.

SOURCE: Joystick LAG!

Since I have never heard of this incident before (I have even owned one of those controllers) my guess is that it is just a faulty controller. There is possibly ways of fixing this, but you would have to take apart the controller, which is out of my league.

SOURCE: Infinite play wireless controller turbo

I believe that it's a typo. You can only use turbo on one button at a time. Try it.

Press and hold the Turbo button, and press the button you want to use turbo with. If it doesn't work, your controller could be faulty and you may have to return it.

SOURCE: My joystick will not respond.

you have to plug the round tipped courd into the slot in both controllers, connecting both. you only plug one thing into your computer and that is the usb cord built into the throttle control.

When using my Wii nunchuck, it is less responsive when I push left (For instance, in Skyward sword, Link will run when the joystick is pushed hard right, but will barely move when pushed hard left) I

Sounds like a possible nunchuck error (Yes, it can happen on both at the same time :P ) Or, I would recommend completely reconnecting the controllers and nunchucks to the sytem. You can do this by going to the home menu, disconnecting the controllers, and then holding both the red button on the Wii system (Under a little flap) and the red button underneath the battery pack as well (There is a small hole where a pin or needle can go in to).

Flashing light

Simultaneously press and release both pedals (accelerator and brake) + the cst button your pedals and steering are in combined mode

flashing light = combined mode
solid light = separate mode

Your wheel's accelerator and brake controls are in "separate" mode by default, meaning that the pedals
function on independent axes.
This mode lets you considerably improve the precision of your steering. If you game does not support the "separate" mode
, the pedal set of the wheel will not work correctly. You
must therefore activate the "Combined" mode

How do I calibrate this with X Plane 9?

Calibrating Joystick Hardware
This is a step of vital importance that often gets left out. Keep in mind that X-Plane is capable of interfacing with most modern joysticks and pedals and such-forth. Some devices may send a signal from 0 to 1,000 when you move a given control from one limit to the opposite and another may send a signal (given the same movement of your hand or foot) from -6,000 to 3,992 or something. How is X-Plane to know what the limits are that your joystick will create? Easy! You tell it. You do this by clicking the button labeled "Calibrate Joystick Hardware" on this window. This tells X-Plane that you are next going to give it your full range of signals for every possible input you have. To do this, just move every one of your variable controls (that is, your sliders) through their full and complete range of motion. You can do this quite rapidly as X-Plane can log and remember all the different inputs at once. So, after you click the button labeled "Calibrate Joystick Hardware" move your stick or yoke from full right to full left deflection, from full back to full forwards. Do the same thing for any engine controls you may have, like throttles or propellers.

What are the red green blue n yellow buttons on the remote for??

With the controls on the machines themselves pared down to the barest minimum, and virtually every operational setting done through software, and more interactive content being developed, the remote control is an even more crucial tool. Sony’s remote has a logical, well-designed layout. Along with many of the common features from DVD-Video remote controls of Audio, Subtitle, Angle and Display, the S350’s remote adds special buttons for the Pop Up Menu, Options and Scene Search. It also includes a group of Red, Green, Blue and Yellow buttons just above the navigation wheel in the center, which can be programmed for special functions by title authors. They are also used like Shift and Control keys on a computer keyboard when using the remote to enter text and number information. Green has become the default for setting Book Marks, but this, Scene Search and many other features are authoring choices, not necessarily standard on all titles. Perform functions assigned to each button. Assigned functions vary depending on the content being played.
