Question about RCA Radio Alarm Clock

The only difference in the instructions is that the 4801A doesn't have a clock icon, just press the SET button until the center colon dots are flashing, Press the rewind or fast forward arrows on the circle next to it to set the time. Set the alarms by pressing the set button until bell 1 or 2 is displayed. Nap is also set with the set button - not sure how to stop it yet.

I have the same problem, I can't cancel out the alarms. blink, blink and more blinking, then when I finally get them off the screen... the stupid nap icon you can't cancel off the screen..
Tried setting the time by pressing time then fwd,I can change the time but can't get off the pm icon.. this clock is very confusing, whoever design it sure didn't design it for the consumer....
even with an instruction manual, you can't get it to work right..
It's a very nice clock, but I would like to be the one in control of what time it should be set at, not that the clock is going to be in control....
I just want the correct time on this clock... as I don't need to be using the alarms... Please HELP.....
