Re: sudden shuting off
The laptop is overheating.
You can get a laptop cooler that they sell at most stores.
It's a flat surface with a couple fans on it that blow into the laptop to cool it down they work great.
they have pricey ones to inexpensive ones. You get what you pay for pretty much
I got one from wal-mart for $20 and it plugs into the usb port of the laptop.
It should take care of your issue.

If the battery is full and still shuts down suddenly then it could be a heatsinking problem on your Notebook. Also try unchecking the option "Automatically Restart" from StartUp & Recovery section in System Properties.
Please, provide more details to allow us to better help you.
1) Was the laptop working normally before (starting up, running etc.?)
2) What OS do you have installed?
3) Did you install anything (hardware or software) just before the problem started?
4) Was the power suddenly shut down while the computer was reading or writing to the HD?
5) Was the HD disconnected while the computer was on or running?
Hello my friend, usually laptops when are overheating because of the processor or graphic card they start restarting or shutting down. Was your laptop warm when shut down or you was watching video or playing a game?
in this case pc only shuttdown automatically when the sensor of processors detects or reach the maximum temperature of the system. try to check the CPU FAN if running poperly. RAM also causing sudden shuttdown.
all the laptops on the world have warm problem. if you use your notebook dirty place your fan could get dirty and not working well and not makes cool anymore. in warm system can shut down itself. it is often does. if you open your laptop back case you will see the fan. there are olny 4 screw. clean the fan and screw again. try it.
sorry for my enghlish.
for your suddenly shut down there might be a virus in your motherboard ''Brontoc'' or ''foooool'' they might harm your motherboard install the anti-virus you trust ''best use avg free 8.5.87,download from www.filehippo.com'' second for your ram you can increase them as much as you want so you can reach your limit to 4GB RAM i wish this helped you
Do you get any error-beeps of any kind? Like the battery is going empty? Or does it just go off suddenly? If the first is the case, your power connector in the computer or perhaps the powersupply could be broken. It could sound like your battery doesn't get charged and your computer isn't getting power. Then it will shut down. See if the power/charge indicator is on when connected to the power grid.
If it blacks out suddenly it's probably a more severe problem, but you might try to reinstall the OS (I'm guessing windows), but only as a last resort.
