Re: Dead Harddrive

Buy a spare disk from, and plug it in. Or, buy a CF card and build a ROM yourself to replace the bad drive.

Htc 8s water damaged?

It is a water demage - with using to quickly you made it bad, I guess with pressing the screen you moved the water.

I would say ... give it another dry (smile)

Open the rear, take the batterie out ... mean let the mobile breath ... then leave it on a warm, but not hot place ... it has to stay on the side. We want that the water in the case vabours troughthrough the side buttos within the time.

plug in the phone in to windows and double click on the phone icon in My computer on your pc. go into storage drive and open the windows directory by double clicking on it. then open the startup directory and copy to somewhere on your pc (your desktop is probably best).

open notepad on your pc and click file open, in the filetypes drop down box choose all files, then choose desktop and click on the file. When notepad has opened it up delete all the txt inside and click file

T-mobile Wing - Touch screen stopped working

finally found the fix for this problem..
i had the same problem -
when you are the welcome screen align section
continue holding your stylus on the marker until marker moves to the next location
and continue this process with all four corners and the screen will go past the tap align screen

enjoy, glad i came across another forum for this problem

Always start with the simplest answer first, so start by removing any memory cards, attached devices and cables and resetting it again. If you still have the same problem check the manual for the Hard Reset procedure, it may seem you've already hard reset it by killing your battery but it's worth a try anyway when your getting this kind of issue.

Touch Screen Problems

You may want to use the Task Switcher that you can start by going to Settings/System. When you click on Task Switcher, you will see all of the open programs. If you have a large number of open programs then you may see a degredation in performance. You may also have a single application that is causing problems. If a soft reset cures the problem, then it is not a hardware problem.

Casio E-100: Dead or alive?

If you had synched the device you have all your data on the desktop pc so I wouldn't worry too much except for some software which may require you to enter the reg info again. You could try the following. Remove both the batteries. Install the main battery. Install the backup battery preferably a NEW one. Let the device charge to the full - until the green charging light goes out. Switch on the device. It should now behave properly. It would help if you generally avoid using the device when you get low battery warning. Especially the backup battery.
