Hi. It has nothing to do with button pressing.
The machine is indicating printer failure. make sure nothing is jammed in the printer.

You have printer failure. Check for any paper jams in the printer. Otherwise, the printer may need replacing.

I WORK FOR hABITAT FOR hUMANITY AND WE WERE JUST DONATED A CASIO PCR 265P BUT WHEN YOU TURN IT ON IT GIVES AND ERROR MESSAGE OF JAMMED PAPER AND I HAVE DONE EXACTLY AS THE MANUAL SAYS AND I STILL CAN NOT...

Hi,
i have also the same problem when a friend gave that kind of Casio cash register, soon find out that you must have the manual to operate it.

Download some similar model from the net, but the most favorable and complete manual would be to buy an operating manual for Casio.
You could browse the internet, by using the search engine and type the model of that Casio.
Hope that helps you out!
Thanks for using Fixya!

E94 is a printer error. Open the printer and make sure nothing is jammed in it.Remove the paper roll. Look for old pieces of paper stuck in the gears etc. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Casio pcr-265 e94 what is the error and how do i fix it

Hello,

On the PCR-265, error e94 is caused by jammed printer paper.
1. Remove jammed paper.
2. Turn Mode switch to OFF, then turn to ON.
or
Turn Power OFF and then turn power ON.

There's an online manual for the PCR-265B register [ pdf file, that can be read with Adobe Reader ]:
http://www.casio4business.com/sa/products/downloads/manuals/other_models/PCR265PB_E0203A.pdf
note:
The additional letter B, could mean this printer has extra/other options.

Hi - I had gotten an E94 message on my PCR-260B cash register - no paper jams as I changed the register tape and cleared away any debris. I also replaced the 3 batteries below the register tape - E94...

The printer has a fault. It is common in the little cheap machines as this printer is prone to failure within a few years. Take it to a Casio dealer to have the printer serviced.

Casio PCR-265P

Hi.
Most of the simple machines don't have a fuse. If it has gone completely dead, then the thermal protector inside the transformer is the likely cause. You could open it and check for a fuse. If it doesn't have one, or it is not blown, then you will probably need a new transformer, or the thermal link needs replacing.

Sorry I can't be of more help. If you have an appliance repair shop near you, then they may be able to do this sort of work on the power supply.
