Just installed my VM9410 for first time right out of the box. The dvd is playing except you always get another screen over the top for a few minutes, then the screen says,"can`t veiw dvd in drivers veiw must apply parking brake." I`ve checked every connection with a test light and ohm meter. I`ve even tried grounding the (pink) parking brake wire directly to ground, still have the same problem. please help me.

Actually since there is a trick to making the Jensen model think the park brake is engaged, you have to install a switch that you leave on when you turn the car on. Then when you are ready to view a video flip the switch off then back on after counting to 2.

If your getting the "Can't view dvd in drivers view must apply parking brake" you need to recheck your ground. You might want to try another location for the ground. If the unit is VM9410 you can simply ground the parking brake wire and you'll be good to go.
