Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
Okay so my girlfriend and I got the game today and had the same problem on our PS2 slim version. After all the stuff I read I started playing with the system setting... Here is what I found:
1. Power the system with no disc in the console
2. Browser / System Configuration screen will appear
3. Choose the "Version" option which is the triangle button
4. Scroll to Playstation Driver
5. Press the triangle button again for "Options"
6. Change "Disc Speed" to FAST
7. Change " Texture Mapping" to SMOOTH
8. Insert your game and REBOOT your system.
9. ROCK YOUR HEART OUT!!!
PS... Hopes this helps the old PS2 users, I just posted what helped us!!! Good Luck!!!

I think maybe that the guitar hero world tour is to new for the old ps2. I think that it only works on new ps2's.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
