First go to the DOS menu by clicking on Run the type cmd. At the DOS prompt type "regedit"...this is your register files you will see a file called HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Sometimes, not always on every system, you can collapse that folder and there will be folders for each of your hotkeys...However be aware, these are your Register files, do not make any changes experimentally. If you do not see your hotkey folders then exit..hope this helps

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If your laptop is Acer Aspire 5720, you should have an "Easy Launch Buttons" the Bluetooth button should be somewhere above the F4 or F5 keys.

It should have the Bluetooth Icon:

Problem is Acer Aspire 5738G's Easy Launch buttons are Stopped Working while Launch manager Application Working at background i decided to dissassemble the keyboard and the area which have power button etc...

The cable shoudl be fine. This is goignt o be a software issue. The cable more than most will nto just stop workign without prior truama. Put the system back together and uninstall then reinstallyour software for the buttons. reboot and allow the software to boot witht he OS.

If this does nto work you will need to look at other software first then replacing the cable etc.

CineDashMediaConsole.volume not working.

Cinedash FIX for Windows 7
This works to fix the CineDash Media Console!
I had the same problem with my Aspire 8920G
Now it works fine.
Getting the CineDash Media Console and Launch Buttons working
If you have problems with either the CineDash Media Console or Launch buttons then you will be happy to hear that the solution for fixing these is easy!
The first thing that you will need to do is install the “Launch Manager” which can be downloaded off the Acer website. Go to http://www.acer.com and click the service support, then driver download. Go to your model. Download the Launch Manager on the acer site. The filename should be “Kilimanjaro_v2.0.00_Vistax32×64_XPx32×64.zip” the version of Launch Manager under the Windows Vista operating system .This will get the Email, Web and Empowering Technology buttons working with their default settings. If you need to change what the buttons do, you can launch the application named “Launch Manager” in the start menu.
Uninstall any previous version of Launch Manager
The solution to my problem was to get the Launch Manager to run in compatibility mode for Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
Unzip. Explore the new folder and right-click Setup.exe.
To do this go to the Launch Manager Install directory (C:\Program Files\Launch Manager ), right-click on “setup.exe”, select the “troubleshoot compatibility” tab, check the “Troubleshoot program” check box and then click “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”. Then select “Windows Vista Service Pack 2”. Then click “Start” program. Now everything should work properly! It will install. But don’t reboot yet!
Now locate and explore the freshly installed folder in your program files directory – (probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Launch Manager or C:\Program Files\Launch Manager depending on if you are running 64-bit or 32-bit)
right-click on “LManager.exe”, select the “troubleshoot compatibility” tab, check the “Troubleshoot program” check box and then click “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”. Then select “Windows Vista Service Pack 2”. Then click “Start” program. Now everything should work properly! It will install.
Reboot and enjoy properly synced volume, and fully functioning buttons.

I m nt able to locate my wifi switch on my laptop acer aspire4720z. plz help

Hello,

Your wi-fi switch is located to the top most buttons on your laptop which is the "easy-launch buttons". The first one is WLAN(your wi-fi), second is INTERNET, third EMAIL, fourth BLUETOOTH, and fifth ARCADE.

You may need to setup your wi-fi by pressing the Empowering Key (triangle button inscribed with letter "e").

Hope this helps.
