ERROR CODE f15 my electrolux stove said error code f15 and just shut down now what?

The F15 error does indicate that you have a problem with the electronic oven control board in the console. That F15 could be caused by pressing the buttons and holding them down in the Sabbath mode. If the control was in Sabbath mode and does not show the F15 code after disabling that feature then the oven should work normally. If the oven is not in the Sabbath mode or you do see that F15 code after disabling the Sabbath feature then you will probably need to replaced that electronic oven control board. I recommend that you have a service technician complete that type of repair in your oven

The first thing I would check is to see if there is 240 volts AC at the back of the stove. On some stoves, The top section runs on 120 volts and the oven runs on 240 volts. Best of luck to you.

The F-code usually relate to the gate closing or locking.

Go to www.manualslib.com &search your appliance. You can download a manual in pdf format and this includes fault codes.

It is likely you may have used self-clean feature at some stage before this happened. The error is something to do with oven overheating. This is common when you use self-clean. The solution may be to reset the thermal fuse.

Not enough info and I dont have that code. But, there are thermal safety devices in back of the ovens that can shut everything down. Unless your electrically quailifed, find someone who is and has a meter, then pull oven(s) out of the wall and check all safety devices...

The Error E40 warning means the door is not properly closed. The E40 error code indicates a loss of electrical power usually but not always due to the door not shutting properly or not locking. But, since you smelled burning it could be any electrical short that blew a fuse and shut the machine down. It could also be the motor windings with the internal overload protector shutting it down.
