Carrier model 38tdb air conditioning unit kicks out the 40 amp breaker. Also moisture under compressor unit outside. What is problem?

What breaker? The breaker for the condenser? Likely have a compressor shorted to ground or drawing locked rotor amps. Easiest way to tell is make sure breaker off, unhook compressor wires from contactor. Turn on breaker and turn on machine. If the breaker does not trip, obviously problem with compressor

Air compressor problem

Start valve closes when compressor can create enough volume to close it. Most likely your valves or gaskets are needing service /replacement. After proper pressure /volume is restored, start valve will close. Good luck

How to change rear struts 2002 saturn LS

Raise vehicle.
Remove tire and wheel assy.
Rmove inner wheelhouse liner ,5 bolts.
Remove the shock-to -knuckle bolt and discard.( Go get a new one). This is the bolt on the bottom of the shock.
Remove upper carrier assembly to body bolts ( top two bolts).
Loosen lower carrier assembly to body bolts until the carrier assembly slides out.
Then, using either a rented spring compressor, or get a pro to remove it for you. If you a rental, please please please look on YouTube to see how to use one properly.
Replace any worn out rubber components, they are sold separately.
Installation is in reverse order.
Torques: Top of shock absorber ,15 foot pounds
Rear carrier bolts, 40 foot pounds.
Bottom shock to knuckle, 110 foot pounds.

Carrier puron 38txa a/c compressor will not turn on

Make sure there is power at the compressor, but first at the contactor (being supplied to contactor ). Power being supplied to contacter (line voltage) ?
Yes, then close contactor manually and if it works then check for 24 volts at the contactor coil. Find 24 volts, then you need a contactor.
No supply (line voltage), then check breaker
Breaker on, then check run capacitor and if good check high and low pressure protection.High pressure = trips on high head pressure (manual reset) then clean condenser coil.
Low pressure trips on low charge (auto reset on restored charge)

System not cooling properly. Two speed compressor

According to the reading sound like compressor is working fine .There are other issue that contribute to no cooling and the main one is dirty filters so check your filter to see if it's dirty and clean or replaced it .
If filter is fine then you might have dirty evaporator or condenser coil so clean those out too .
Does this unit have 2 compressor and if it does is the 2 compressor running

DeWalt emglo compressor does not start

hello,
well, you have to release the pressure, the cut out pressure at 120 psig.reached, and the cut in pressure maybe at 40 psig.so after realeasing pressure at cut in the compressor will run.if the compressor not run at cut in or after releasing check your power supply if still have, swicth off power breaker,by pass pressure switch,by disconnecting the line on terminals of pressure swtich, connect the line w/out pressure switch
the wire line should supply the the compressor,
open the service valve of compressor, switch on
observe if compressor run and develop pressure or air is coming out to nozzle,if that so switch off again and replace pressur switch.you have defective pressure switch, regards rate me,thanks

Compressor tries to kick in, but no cold air

hi! there, although it's better to have it check to prevent of early damage definitely cleaning is a must ac should be clean quarterly a year mostly fin tube of condenser and eveporator, blower and fans with regards to freon the most thing to is actual checking of operating currrent is the best way using clamp ammeter tester, measured on one line, just clamp it on common line take the reading e,g 60 A reading ,compare this to the reted current on yuor manuals or sometime there spec. tag built in the or compressor if has the same value your freon is still good,if there a sight glass you can figure or visually seen if babbles appear or foamy one means this need to recharge but if can see anything or there a plane sight glass your freon still good.so its better to prevent than cured.regards and have a nice day thank's
