Since you don't want to check it further yourself, I would suggest calling Sears for service.

Panasonic NN-C2003S microwave is completely dead. No lights, no action. Have taken cover off and checked fuse, which looks like it is in good condition.

Would need to check power to main board. A lot of times it is the small low voltage transformer on the main board. If the primary winding goes bad it cant get power to the rest of the board to function. So to start, is there power getting to the low voltage transformer on the main board??Have you had any thunder storms or power surges at your home where it is plugged in? If a home loses its Neutral power line it can mess up a lot of electrical devices in the home. do you notice your lights browning at times. If so you may need to get your power company out to do a load test on you system. But the transformer is a very low amp device and will not blow the main fuse if it goes bad. So you could bhave aburnt trace on the back of the main board or a bad transformer. Best guess. Good luck

Model mw8109w just stoped .No display of clock or anything.

You have checked the circuit breaker - RIGHT?!?!? Looked for a tripped GFI?!?!?

Unplug the machine ... Remove the cover. DONT TOUCH THE SILVER CAN - LETHAN

Look for a fuse on the floor of your machine near where the cord enters. If you have a volt/ohm meter, check it with that meter. If you dont know what Im tralking about, get a paper clip, a flash light light and a flash light battery.

Bend the clip in a manner that will allow you to touch the both the bottom of the battery and the side of the flash light light while put place the metal tip of the light on the top of the battery. The light should lilght.

Now, place the fuse between the bottom of your battery and the end of your paper clip. If the light lights, your fuse is good. If it doesn't llight, your fuse if probably bad.

Get a replacement at an appliance or auto parts place.

I hope this solves your trouble.

How do you know the fuse in the microwave is no good?

first you need to see if the energy is being produced, go to an electronic store, here in UK Maplins ( US radio shack) and purchase some standard 5mm red led's cut off the leads close to the led.palce them in the oven and put on cook for 5 seconds, if they light then you have energy. if not then start looking for a large fuse inside the casing, check this and then check the control fuses on the boards.
lots of shops sell cheap fuse testers. best of luck

I have a goodmans microwave. a few weeks ago i opened the door and it blew the fuses. i have changed the fuse in the plug but still no power going to unit, please can u tell me if there is any fuses...

Firstly check the light.

As the light comes on when the door is opened - this could be the cause.

If that's ok, you could open it up to check the condition of the wiring, and that the door interlock is functioning.
As long as you don't damage anything, or remove the magnatron you should be fine.

I don't think there are any other fuses inside this model.

If it's anything else I would not attempt repair.

Double check that all is secure before using again - and turn off BEFORE opening the door each time.
