Pop out your ram and reseat it again, thats usually the main problem. You can even try it in steps 1 stick at a time booting each time, then you can also find out if the slot or stick might be bad.
Remove all other units attached to the motherboard and try to boot in the BIOS - if you can then the hard disk has died, replace it. If you can't replace the processor and try again - if you can't then the motherboard has died, replace it.
