HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One Error Message

This error just appeared 0xc0620004. "Auto Answer" light, "!" light and "On" light are all blinking. The printer won't respond to any instructions, including turning it off using the "On" button.

Tried that and other rebooting/reinstalling fixes, as well, but to no avail. Other FixYa tech determined it was a hardware problem, and I sent the printer back to HP. Thanks for trying!

The surge has blown up the chipset that produces the signals required for faxes.

If you have a surge protector fitted then the maker should repair or replace the printer under their terms of warranty.

If they sell you protection then they have to offer it

  3. Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and wait for one minute.
  5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
  6. Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
  7. Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.
  8. Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.
