Question about Canon PIXMA iP4000R InkJet Printer
I have done everything: head cleaned, new ink inserted, head exchanged by a new one, but problem does still exist. anyone an idea? how can i reset the printer, perhaps this could be helpful...
First of all... have you tampered with the printer's firmware? If not, it's unlikely it became corrupted. But if replacing the ink cartridges with fresh ones, and using a new print head did not fix your problem, you may be out of luck.
Is this a new problem, or has it always been like this?
Could it be that the print driver is always printing photo? In that case, it uses the narrow black ink cartridge instead of the fat 3eBK cart. You should print a nozzle check pattern and verify that you see the 3eBK cartridge pattern. If you do, the problem is likely SOFTWARE... your driver settings, not the printer itself.
