Since everything works fine, just the display (white screen) problem, with this, there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is
from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This
flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any
The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The
flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the
flip or slide phone.
I would urge you to replace the flex and I
am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might
also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it
may have loosed contact.
If you cannot change the flex yourself,
maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your
vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.
i tried to upgrade my blackberry, and it told me that if i disrupt or unplug the devise wile the upgrade was taking place, that it would make my device 'un-usable' unfortunately my laptop froze and now my blackberry wont switch on it just loads, then goes on to a white screen that says error 205 does anyone know how i can sort this out?
The Rivals are kind of known for this issue. This is Jon from THE CELL PHONE GUY in Sioux Falls SD. Its a flex cable issue wich is the connection between the motherboard of the phone and the screen. Its a simple fix i would think that the insurance company would keep replacing them if the problem keeps happening but if they dont there are shops like ours that can do the repair for about the same that the insurance claim costs. We only charge fifty dollars for this kind of repair and can simply be done within a couple hours and can be done at home too. If you would like to do it at home i can give you a step by step instructions you can send me an email if you would like at email@example.com or you can visit our website www.thecellphoneguyonline.com hope this helps
Jus twent to us cellular with the same problem. they told me there is a patch and that they are testing it right now. The guy told me to contact them next week to get it fixed. I also hate the battery life on this thing. I was also asked if it takes a long time to charge. I said yes and got a new battery, so lets see what happens. Hope this helped.
Insert ANY unaccepted SIM card in the phone and then turn the phone on, follow the steps in 1 to 4 below to enter all the codes. The phone will states "Wrong card" at the end of step 2 and "network lock deactivated" at the end of step 4 if you do everything right so pls take your time to enter the code or follow the instruction correctly at each step. When entering some of the zeros at steps 3 and 4 your phone may display the zero as hyphen or minus (-), dont worry, just count when entering the zero to ensure you enter just the right numbers of zeros. Now let's begin...1/ Put any unaccepted SIM card in your SAMSUNG SGH Phone, turn the phone on, it will display "WRONG CARD"
2/ At the wrong card screen, type *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
3/ Now remove the battery with the SIM card, Put the battery back and turn the phone on again without the SIM card, it will display "Insert SIM card"
4/ At the insert SIM card screen/end of step 3 above type #7465625*638*00000000#
At the end of step 4 phone will show "network lock deactivated"
5/ Now Reinsert your unaccepted card or any other unaccepted SIM card in the phone and enjoy your unlocked phone!
yes i know this problem it also happened to me.Solution:you need a WORKING firmware flash file...sry i can't post it here coz it's illegal to download them without paying but you can google it and get it for free. Then open xs++ and flash it following CAREFULLY ALL the on-screen instruction and only disconnect it when xs++ says(if you don't know how to use xs++ please refffer to a tutorial but it is very easy if you do everything as asked.
this is a general N70 problem, you need to format your phone, all your data stored in phone memory will be lost but phone will be okay. follow these steps
Turn it off, press and hold *key, 3numeric key and green calling key now while holding these keys, turn on your mobile phone. Keep holding these keys and the word "formating" will apear on your screen. dont let go until the nokia start up apears This will solve your problem
I had this problem too. My razrs screen would just go white every 15 minutes maybe, and i would have to turn it off and back on.There was a white line at the bottom of the screen also, so i went to http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=&language=&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=US%20Cellular&strPhone=V3c&strCable=Mini%20USB%20Data%20Cable
and downloaded thee software update.
after it was finished the white line went away
the screen never went white and it fixed everything
My Solution: Heat it up by just sitting on it or holding it in your hands// Take the battery out and back in/ Try keeping the battery out of it for a full day My Story :) My mom dropped the phone in the dishes because she was drunk haha, I quickly took out the battery, but when the next day came by I looked at the phone and saw the same problem everyone here has. I kept replacing the battery on the hope it would just magically fix itself. Now 2 days from when it dropped in water, I kept flipping it, replaced the battery again (just taking it out and back in) after I sat on it a while, possibly the heat somehow helped it to work again.. I'm amazed it works haha, it was in the water fully submerged for half a min when I had to snatch it out of the dishes But, it is most likely that I took the battery out, the battery is the thing that ruins electronics, just remember to take it out if you drop it in water. Good luck. If worst comes to worst and your going to buy a new phone, maybe try using a blow dryer on it for a little bit **or just do this in the first place**
