I like to use compressed air, sometimes a wire may work to clear the drain line. It will require some dissassembly of the unit to gain good access to the drain. Clean everything once dissassembled, it will save you trouble later. Hope this helps.

Drum will not spin in any cycle it fills ok and empty ok bot will not turn

Hi.

There are several things to check. First of all check if it drains before spinning. If machine drains OK, skip to check the pressure switch, the motor control unit and control.

Most common problems resulting in no spin are caused by drain system.

Check the position of the drain hose. Ensure that the height is as specified by the manual or you get siphoning and drain does not end.

Access the drain filter. With most front loaders this located in front at the base, there should be a trim or an access panel.

The machine has a pressure switch. It is a sensor connected to a long thin rubber hose. The pressure switch is often in control assembly.Clean drain hose and the switch. One way to test it is by blowing into the switch, but manufacturers say this must not be done.
The pressure switch is difficult to test in full.

Most machines have a tech-sheet tucked inside the control panel assembly. You take off panel that is held by a couple of screws and see if there is the envelope with the sheet.

The rest of testing is more complex because concerns motor and motor control unit. The motor control unit is a module located inside the machine. Testing of this parts is done reading voltages and Ohms at the motor and at control units contacts. This must be done by a technician. The motor is easier to test. If problem is the motor replacing the carbon brushes may fix the problem.

I have my moonroof drain clogged backside how can I clear it?

You will have to access the drain assembly to try to blow the debris from the assembly with compressed air. This will require some disassembly to get to the moon-roof drain assembly. Most moon roof units can be accessed by removing the headliner.

I have a defective flame sensor on a duke oven, I need to know the best way to remove it to replace with a new one. It does not appeear there is enough room inside to access it.

it does require removal of entire burner assembly. which is not all that hard to do but a bit time consuming. fittings for 2 burners and pilot must be disconnected and 3 screws on front of burner assembly. unit will then pull right out allowing access to flame sensor bulb. hope this helps!

Inside the refrigerator underneath the vegetable bins we are getting ice build up. We have defrosted twice but the build up reoccurrs. Where exactly is the drain opening? and How do I clean it? How do I...

The drain opening is inside the freezer compartment (in the rear) so you need toremove the back and maybe bottom panels (inside the freezer), or you mey be able to access this hole from the back of frig if the drain tube is located outside the unit (in the rear). The best way is with pressurized air ( not a coat hanger wire). The drain heater (if so equiped) can only be accessed from the freezer by removing the panel(S). Good luck, macgivor

Kenmore dishwasher has stopped draining.

remove the kick panel below the door, place a pan, etc under where the drain hose connects to the drain extension tube, and slide the clamp back some so you can slide the hose off of the extension tube (white plastic tube) and drain any excess fluid into the aforementioned pan, etc., then unscrew the extension tube and check for plugs, or restrictions.
the sump may also be pluged beneath the strainer assembly, and that requires removing the lower spray arm, the water tube that runs up the inside back of the unit, and the upper parts of the assembly below them to access the drain/pump sump area.
last but not least the impeller is jamed and might be able to be freed by removing whatever has lodged within there..
ya never know...
best of luck,
ttfn
