Question about Sanyo SR-2410 Compact Refrigerator

1 Answer

Inconsistent temperatures I work in various small medical clinics. We all have similar refrigerators for vaccines. We have a problem with the refrigerators temps going very high and we have had loss of some very expensive vaccines lately. We had one refrigerator that actually went to 17 degrees and we had to dispose of all the vaccines in that refrigerator (several hundreds of dollars of loss). Most often the problem is that the refrigerators overheat and the temps get up to near 50 degrees (which is also the death knell to the vaccines). The refrigerators are installed. Some are sitting out on the open floor with airspace all around them (at least 5 inches) and others are in small cabinet spaces with some less than 5 inch spacing. All of them have the same problem. Some of the ones installed into the cabinets seem more stable than ones in the open. I have adjusted the thermostat on one to watch what happens and it cools down but, I am concerned that the temp may fall in the night when the store is closed. Help!

I am in uk not us so this is guidance only. you should not really use domestic refrigeration for storage of drugs etc. this is because the temperature can vary considerably in the cabinet. you need medical refrigerators which have a fan to circulate in the cabinet.during the defrost cycle, the temp can rise considerably and this may be your problem. also if the doors are opened frequently, the fridge may not be able to cope.how high is your ambient temp?

How to label medical folders

Each hospital determines its medical records system. There are both federal and state laws covering what is contained within medical records. The labeling system, again, may vary from hospital to hospital. Training in the application of such would be internal. Various companies manufacture labels applied to medical files but the use of such labels is not determined by such, rather by the medical organization. If you are curious to know how to organize medical labels for a hospital or practice, that either requires in-house training or general training in medical records in courses.

I have personally built physical medical records files from scratch but only in compliance with the system in place. There is the additional matter of data entry tying the physical record to the electronic records system. For large hospital systems, records may be archived offsite and retrieved by contracted for logistics services. X-ray records in the past were held in temperature controlled room; the rooms smelled of vinegar due to the decomposition of such records across time. The consistency of labeling of these and other medical records is determined by the controlling government departments and the particular health organizations and the hospitals and clinics there in.

Have pain oper arm even had a jag but pain still wnt go away even pain kilers ae not workinhi

Might be onset of frozen shoulder syndrome. Often only cortizone shot may help. But this is guess work plus having had the syndrome on my part. For all I know, your pain could come from a vaccine shot. Even gall bladder problems or heart disease can cause chronic shoulder pain. A doctor might sort this out, given time.

Remember, I'm not a medical professional. Any suggestions here actually can potentially make things worse, given I have no way of knowing the underlying condition. Any suggestion I have might work but might waste your time when it would be better being used to sort things out with a medical professional. Just because the shot or pain reliever proved ineffective is not a reason to suppose the next form of treatment on the doctor's check list also will not work. But serious chronic pain is nothing to ignore as it will wear you down in short order.

Till then, there are specific stretches which might help if it is related to muscle injury or frozen shoulder. The sort of pain you are talking about tends to finally make it very difficult to sleep.

You might also google for exercises on the Mayo Clinic site. That site has a symptom checker too and might help you rule out some things.

Most places don't require having your pet vaccinations current, but it is highly recommended since they are in an environment where there are a lot of other pets present.

We have a roper frig that we use for vaccine storage, the freezer does not stay cold enought for their storage; if we adjust to freezer temp for vaccines then refrigerator is too cold for storage

Good day,
Usually caused by the machine in a cool area or room, along with the machine not getting enough door action, both freezer and fresh food.

Domestic refrigerators are designed to be used as just that. Domestic refrigerators.
Normal kitchen temperatures, followed by minimum of 7 freezer door openings per day spread over 14 hours as well as 22 to 26 fresh food door openings over the same period of time.

In other words, it's not getting enough activity daily. Common problem in doctor offices.

The best model for that type of application in the past was the Amana bottom freezer model. where the primary control was located in the freezer, nailing the freezer temp, and the top controlled by a pneumatic damper controlling the fresh food section, but I do not know if their current model still uses that system.

One option, space permitting is a small chest type freezer added to what you have.

I work in a medical office and our company just purchased an LG Model # LFC20740SW to accomadate more room to hold our vaccines. Well are ranges for refrigerator and freezer have to be within certain temps...

You need not worry about the defrost cycle. It just warms the external walls of the refrigirator and in the interior it will be about 20-25°C which i guess will be good enough to store vaccines. There is a work around to remove the deffrost thing but if defroster or the fan on the evaporater(inside coil)when the evaporater does not defrost it causes ice build up on it,this does not allow air to flow through it.The result of this is that the freezer will stay cold for awhile but the refrigerator section will not get cold enough.
