We repair those for $39.95 mostly for US and Canadian customers, but in the UK you can contact Quality Electronic Repairs. I think they repair these.

Otherwise, you would have to replace the control unit, which consists of both circuit boards and the display.

I would suggest pulling the control board out and looking on the foil side (opposite the component side) for "ring cracks," most likely on the low voltage transformer's connections.

The board may have the screen-printed reference designator "T1" near the low voltage transformer.

Also be sure the fuse is not easy to turn with your fingertips when it is in the holder. If it is, the fuse holder is too loose and must be replaced (not just squeezed with pliers).

You can order a fuse holder, part number WB06X10034 for $6.49 (subject to change) from the Pros here.

If you have any keypad issues, please note that the membrane keypads for this model have long been discontinued.

Can't get out of demo mode Westinghouse oven WVE916SA!

For display purposes, the appliance has a demonstration mode to enable demonstration of oven functionality without consuming power. In demonstration mode, the display, the light and the fan only are operational.
When the appliance is in demonstration mode and the display is switched on, the clock symbol will be on.
If the appliance is in demonstration mode, to operate the appliance normally the demonstration mode will need to be deactivated.
To deactivate demonstration mode:
1. Ensure the oven is off by pressing the ON/OFF button. 2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the display turns
ON then OFF and a single ‘beep’ is heard. Immediately after press and hold the ‘Timer’ and ‘–’ buttons simultaneously, until a triple beep sounds to confirm
the operation.

For a 1995 Sharp Carousel Convection Microwave oven Model # R-9H66 it has on display screen ''LOCK'' and will not allow any function, is there a solution? The light inside works when the door is opened...

Check the user book for the unlock code. This could be the child lock mode.

If one of the safety switches are defective, or if there is a sensed power supply fault, the uPC will put the oven in the lock mode for safety reasons.

Kenmore Microwave Hood Combination oven Model Service code (SE) ?

The 401 in the model number is the model prefix for Samsung, who manufactured the oven.

SE error means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and of course one should never leave a microwave unattended while cooking.

I would need the rest of the model number from the tag to help you more.

A full Sears/Kenmore model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as ###.########

Sharp Combination Oven R-953M - Replaced door latch. Now everything works lights, display, turntable, fan, grill & oven. But microwave does not heat water in a cup. Could trouble be one of the three...

If the turntable runs when you try to cook with the microwave portion, then the problem is either a bad relay on the control board (RY2, primary interlock relay) or something wrong in the high voltage section.

If a high voltage problem, it may be as simple as a loose connection on the magnetron terminal or a bad high voltage rectifier diode or as costly as a high voltage transformer or magnetron.

Most of the time the magnetron will have a 5-9 year warranty, and you would only have to pay labor charges to have it fixed. If you take it to the shop yourself, you can save quite a bit.

Here are some links you or someone you know can use for test help, but read their safety warnings first:

Sharp microwave oven R345 M 900 watts

In most cases the displays are protected by a low value resistor which could have burned out. First someone needs to determine if the display is getting the proper voltage. If it is and still does not work you need a display. If it isn't getting any power follow the circuit back to the power supply and you'll probably find an open resistor or micro fuse (which looks like a resistor).
