It does not play music
i put in songs and i put the chip in the mp3 and it makes the opening sound wheni hold play

Windows Media Player says the music has been downloaded to the Shaker, but I turn it on and it says "uh oh". I deleted the music it came with. Could that affect anything?

I tried 2 different SD cards and both say they have the songs added but the shaker itself will not play the songs. I also deleted the origional song on the card. I am frustrated because tomorrow is Christmas and my daughter will not have songs on her Shaker.

My Sansa Shaker worked for exactly 2 hours, and then it started doing weird stuff - It make the starting drumroll when you turn it on, but will not play anything beyond that. I even tried changing the battery, to no avail. This is a very low quality toy.
Can't leave battery in when using USB data cable. The USB cable gives energy to sansa shaker with out battery. Leaving battery in is touch energy on the sansa player cause damage to sansa shaker.
Check the sd card compatibility. A sdhc card might work not sdhx. I know a 2gb card will work on a1gb sansa shaker. I don't know maximum flash drive memory the sansa shanker will allow before it does not work properly since the manual does not say it.
