Question about Nikon D40 Digital Camera with G-II 18-55mm Lens
Hi all i own NIkon D40 with std lences and also got Sigma (Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Macro DG )
I need some information regarding use of teleconverter, i want to double the focal length of lence of my 2 lences. i need some specific information such as is this converter will afect my micro capability and whether its worth to use it...
i have selected following teleconverter Kenko Teleplus MC4 2x Teleconverter
please help me
Teleconverters are not recommended with variable aperture and slow zoom lenses. Since there is an additional element, the effective max. aperture will get reduced to about f/8-11. So it is not worth the money.
