My zyxel router has ethernet ports; my Canon printer has a usb connection. I have a usb-to-ethernet connector. I want to print wirelessly from my Mac. What do I need to do, besides attach the adapter to the ethernet port and the other end of the adapter to the printer usb input cable?
Call Canon printer support Toll-free number @ 1-844-707-3772 (USA) AND FIND instant support for facing problem with your Canon printer by certified printer technicians.
If the printer has wireless capability built in , no cables are necessary. Install the printer driver in the mac as a wireless connection. Connecting a printer to the router is pointless, unless you want to install the printer as a network printer, which would disable wireless.

You can use USB instead of Ethernet port but its not a common practise. Leave it empty then.

Well the printer will have to have a eathernet plug on it to make it a networked printer and when you install it you will tell it through the network. I hope this would help you out. Do not for get to rate this solusion.

Yes, you need a new router with a WAN ethernet port. I would look for a good deal at your local Best Buy or Office Max type of store.

I am going to make the assumption that you have the Actiontec GT704WG?
You will need to login in to the router using address: http://192.168.1.1
If you've never changed your username and password there, then you should use the default: admin and password. (You should really change that too!)
Click on Security.
You will need to add the port under the Applications area under the security settings.
There are rules established there to allow your game to play, just follow the screen prompts.

It wouldn't hurt to keep a copy.
