Question about Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder

1 Answer

Audio I record my gameplay and then when I go view it the audio is out of sync. For example, the video will show the man shooting and then the sound will come later. Its like the audio and video do not match together. The audio is either a step ahead or a step behind.

I recorded a bunch of my home movies and everything was fine. But then I recorded some other tapes onto DVD and the audio lags behind the video, and seems to get worse as the tape progresses.

A solution suggested that I can sync audio and video in Windows task manager by selecting dazzle then setting the priority to real time. How exactly is dazzle presented in taskmanager. I don't see dazzle as a process even though it's running.

    Any suggestions?

I have a Dazzle DVD Recorder. I can record games and their video/audio will come out on the computer, but it will not be in sync. The video keeps skipping frames, and leaving the audio behind.

Video format is what causes least adaptablity to the porgam in the computer. For example, capturing motion videos may have been introduced on the computer either as jpeg, wmpeg or alternate. The computer would usually recognise any media as recnet innovation only requires transformation to suit any alternaterations. For example, acquiring video, voice, or text convertor software programs to make compartble to the already available componets contributing towards recording from dsk drives. Ascertain the media video formats to make possible acquiring the codec convertors to intergrate recodring.

Dazzle records and then it shows back in fast forward motion

Hi and welcome to Fixya,

When recording your video using the dazzle and it shows fast forward in motion I would suggest to you to go ahead and record it again but this time disconnect your dazzle and reconnect at the back of the usb port of the computer and from there check and try recording again.
If still the same problem you need to uninstall your device driver. Click on start>control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound video and audio preferences>look for pinnacle dvc 100 video device right click and uninstall it. Restart the computer. Go back and check and record it again.

Windows Movie Maker

A lot of times Dazzle provides a calibration program for video and sound. See if you can run that.

There usually is a seperate audio capture control. If you go to your sound mixer and check the recording settings, is the audio capture from the Dazzle selected?
