Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
I used my HP d9000 recover cd to recover my notebook, but I don't know how after install window, my d drive files had done. How can I get my d drive files back?
I assume you had a D: partition on the same hard drive before reloading the system. If that was the case you will most certainly have lost files from that partition. (hence all the warnings and "are you sure" prompts when you used the recovery CD) But you might get lucky . try this tool http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/
its free and might be able to locate and restore some files.
