Printer not working

I have the printer listed above which is barely 18 months old but now has ceased to function. In the window, what it reads normally in standard print mode is 100% A4 Normal (and) Plain but this now rotates in a thee way alternating window message, which says as follows; 1. A4 NORMAL (AND) PLAIN followed by 2. CHECK PRINTER (OK) and finally 3. ###346 No pressing of the OK button stops the rotating message. Can this be rectified?

It looks as though your print head has had it, this printer will not tolerate many non genuine inks, the printhead seems to fail very quickly and so does the purge units.

My Ricoh SP 213w mono laser printer has lost its WiFi functionality. Followed setup details a number of times but still nothing. Any suggestions?

You may have lost the wireless communication function and need to reset the entire procedure once again. Just do what you did originally to bring the two devices together.

I have HP Deskjet 3420 printer, which I am using with my Compaq 7500 computer (window xp). Printer was purchased by me some 7 years back. I now want to use this printer with my dell laptop having windows 7...

There are no official drivers Win 7 avaliable for your AIO hp DJ 3420, but you can use an alternate compatible drivers for your model ie. hp DJ 3600 series. Read this link from hp Installing the Printer with an Alternate Driver in Windows 7 for a USB Cable Connection. Suggestions What have you tried to get Windows Update to work? I would suggest the following: Go to the Devices and Printers folder, Add a printer, Local Printer, LPt1, etc...when the list of printers comes up select Windows Update. After several minutes the list of printers should be updated and the Deskjet 3600 should be in the updated list. (Also keep in mind to look under 'HP' section of the driver (hp 3600) list and not 'Hewlett Packard'). Cancel the install the wizard & select "hp 3600" drivers to install on your Win 7 system. Hope it helps.

Out of ink?

Many printer cartridges may have ink but the printer believes otherwise. Often this problem can be solved by placing a small piece of black tape over a window in the cartridge that the printer looks into to identify ink level. If you cartridge has such a window, try a piece of electrical tape. You might be surprised.

Printer not printing items copied from canon scanner D1250U2F

Connecting a non HP scanner[Canon] to the printer may be a software mod on the printer so that it will only work with HP devices. The only way round that if this is the case is to work through a third party software[image editor]
