Sir,
Some cameras will automatically turn off if the camera is not used for
about 90 seconds. This is a power save mode that is used to prevent the
batteries from wearing down. Consult the instruction manual of your
camera to determine if your model has this feature. If this is not the
case and you've replaced the battery, then, service may be required.

How is the warranty on the camera? try to reset it to default settings. What you told us sounds like a hardware issue that would require repair. You can get a free repair estimate if you are outside of warranty from www.advancecamera.com/repair

No joke, right after I did this, my camera not only turned on but
also started charging when I put it back on the cradle! I hope this
helps some of you who are having the same problem
