My pre-paid vodafone mobile have ing No 9780440337 have snatched by two motorcyclist from my son while coming from School. I request your goodself to kindly block this number forthwith from security point...

Hello,

My dear friend, am so sorry about your loss of phone. The phone cannot be blocked by just anybody. You will require the assistance of the phone providers service customer care. They will require the IMEI number of the phone to do the job.

Once you provide the IMEI number of your phone, then they will be able to block the phone for you. Blocking of phones cannot be done by just anybody. Like blocking a lost Sim card is done by the Sim card providers customer care center, so also is blocking the phone done by the phones service center or customer care center.

Take care and goodluck

Lost my mobile Need to Block the Phone

Hi there and welcome to FixYa!

You can go to your National Telecommunications Commission (or any of that Sort) and submit an affidavit of loss (attorney). Indicate your iMEI number.... however, this solution won't do a thing since most phone phreaks these days can re-enable a blocked phone.

I have lost my mobile- how to block it?

You are out of options as far as what you can do now that the phone is out of your possession.
That is why you set up a security code for the phone, so if it is stolen they have a hard time of using it.

Sorry about your loss, thank you for stopping by Fixya!

Bad phone connection

Usually static with loss of tone is a damaged line somewhere. The static can be caused by a loose connection as well as corroded lines. The loss of tone is usually caused by a dead short in the line. I just re wired my dads house for the same thing and eventually found where a rabbit had chewed through the insulation on a wire outside. He was having the exact same symptoms as you are. Hope this helps, and good luck
